- Gabby is diagnosed with neonatal progeroid syndrome, a condition so rare that doctors did not know what to expect. Her family decided to make their top priority that she was as happy as possible. Now four, Gabby is so joyful that she frequently bursts into song and takes breaks just to tell her family members how much they are loved.

Adalia Rose is almost 12. She has progeria. Only progeria. Other than that she has the same intelligence any other 12yo has, frankly, I believe, she has a much higher IQ than the average 12 yo
She is a well behaved young lady with a perfect sense of comedic timing and charm. Oh... and Her sense of style is beyond her years as well.
She wouldn't spend more than 3 minutes with Gabby before she would politely excuse herself and quietly ask to be taken home..

Is this the condition or genetic disease I don't know what to call it but is this the one where they kind of resemble an old person? Lake does this mean they age faster I don't know if I'm saying this right sometimes it's hard for me to articulate what I'm thinking but I always thought progeria was that they look older and age faster
Gabby won’t listen to either parent at all. Her brother tells her to sit down, and she says, “OK,” and sits down quietly. ;)

And as a mother who has a son who has a disability as well my son has cerebral palsy but anyway I just feel like when Chris asked the mother does Gabi get away with everything and the mother said yes she gets away with everything because she's Gabby I don't think that's very fair to her brother, because we all know Gabby gets away with everything because Gabby not being very healthy and I don't do that to my kids I treat everybody the same I don't let my son who has cerebral palsy get away with more than my two other children that are healthy so I don't know I just wasn't very pleased with how she lets Gabby get away with everything in the sun does not again we're allowed to voice our opinions and this is my opinion but if I get yelled at it is what it is my opinion and I am a mother of a disabled child so I feel like I can

I wonder what the difference is between neonatal progeriod syndrome and progeria.
Neonatal peogeroid syndrome manifests at birth since It starts during the intrauterine growth of the fetus. For this reason she has intellectual disability and developmental delay, while a child affected with progeria looks perfectly normal after birth, because the firsts symtoms of the syndrome appear months or a year or two later.
