The 7th grade friends who took Ruby and Avery under their wing and requested to have lunch with them…makes my heart smile
I can relate to that. I don’t have an extreme disability but I have high functioning Autism so I find it hard to connect with other people so I’m usually eating lunch by myself at school. Sometime in February of last school year a girl at my school who was in grade 12 at the time. Included me to have lunch with her and her friends and I said “sure” and she and her friends have been very inclusive of me for the rest of the year until they all graduated.
@@Sonicfan-cc1te That’s so heartwarming it’s good to hear!
@@duelty9980 Yeah thanks! I miss her now that she has graduated!
should probably hurt in real life, but it's a wonderful image
Yes indeed. I'm so glad to see those girls caring about her like that. So great to see that.
Ruby and Avery's friendship is so sweet.
It’s pure!
Yea, I like to see their connection to each other!
I cried a LOT through this video. Yes so sweet. Good tears though. Phoof
I know it’s so lovely
Ikr.
Ruby's school is PHENOMENAL. The teachers are gems, the principal is absolutely lovely, and the support I see from the other, neurotypical, students seems so lovely and warm. And then she gets to return home to a loving, fun, supportive mother. I am so absolutely thrilled for her.
My respect and admiration for all those people around Ruby. Beautiful people 💞 don't change
NOW THATS WHAT I CALL “A SCHOOL” 😊
Every school should be like that, really. It's just fascinating! This school is creating amazing human beings for society, disabled or not
This was one of the best videos I've watched! I wish every child has this kind of love and support, disabled or not. I also wish every school be this amazing for special needs. 🥺
thats wonderful
"Happy Valentines Day!!!!"
"I'm going to eat that Snickers."
Literally. Me.
the first thing she thinks of when she wakes up LOL

I love her usage of the word "Bonk", it's brilliant
Omg yes! ❤️❤️❤️
She's into the memes very well
yessss
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Brilliant and creative also Ruby is a rockstar.
I love when she says "Bonk" its super funny and love how she says it.
Ruby is the sweetest girl, I love how excited she gets, such a sweetie. Also gotta give cudos to that school for creating such a positive, inclusive school environment. Not many schools have a culture that healthy.
Most schools do indeed *not* have a "culture" against people that are different lmfao what?
@@mycookiehasnoname Maybe you went to good schools, maybe you just didn't notice how kids who were different were treated by the school and fellow students.
The three schools I attended did not foster a supportive and inclusive environment. Kids who were different were bullied by other students, the schools made no attempt to stop the bullying, or prevent it in the first place.
Teachers would treat kids who were different unkindly and with a lack of understanding; shaming kids with learning disabilities for not being able to keep up instead of trying to help them or at least by being kind about it.
Just because you had a healthy school culture, or just because you weren't impacted by unhealthy school culture does not mean the rest of us had the same experience.
@@loftyradish6972 Imma go ahead and assume that you're American? Also; I went to the officially 2nd worst elementary school in the entirety of Sweden, but sure lmao
@@mycookiehasnoname I am not American.
Just because you felt like your school had a healthy culture, does not mean all of us felt that way about our own schools. We had different experiences to you. If you went to a "bad" school and felt like it had a good culture, then I am very happy for you. I did not have that experience at the three schools I attended.
You appear to be over-complicating your sentences. Are you doing it to try to sound smarter? If you are, it isn't working.
If you want to continue attempting to argue with me, please just go away and wank off to your own sense of superiority. You aren't entertaining enough for me to want to continue this interaction.
Just seeing Ruby so happy fills me with so much joy.

Her hair is gorgeous
I love that her mom makes the woof sound to say that Stella says goodnight and Ruby’s like “aww Stella girl” melts my heart. ❤️
I wonder whether they taught their dogs to bark on command
When Ruby was sitting with Avery and holding her hand...
The smiles on their faces are too much for me!!!
They're so precious!!!
"Can you fill my bucket, Stella"
I have a single tear.
A language and speech pathologist?! Daaamn sounds like a pretty cool job working with amazing kids like that and helping them grow!
That’s my mom’s job. When you work in school’s with that job you also get summers off like all the other teachers. She used to work at a hospital in the summer helping stroke patients relearn to talk.
That has to be tough though, working with multiple of those kids, and then new ones and never seeing those ones again, starting all over with new ones, as a teacher. I hope she’s paid REALLY well.
@@AfraidMonsters usually kids get to keep their speech pathologist as long as they are at a given school. Like a nurse or gym teacher, they don’t change every single year
@@allim.830 Yep - for example the districts I work in have one teacher that works ele/junior (depending on the day) and one that works in high school. When kids arrive they work with the same person while they're at that school. It gives continuity of care. Those kids who get outside pathologists may not have the same one from appointment to appointment, so there's that.
Ruby is just so adorable. I love how she says “yuh!”. And Avery too. Always smiling. They are both special little girls. And not “special” as in disabled, but as in uniquely beautiful.
"I'm gonna eat that snickers" is the first thing she says when she wakes up!! Mood! 🤣🤣
Give that girl a snickers.
@@Home_of_Heartes I would if I could. She so deserves one! 😊
Aww her bond with her best friend is such an great connection ! ☺️

Wish I had a best friend, look how happy they are. I'll take that kind of happiness over so called normal, any day.
A very powerful bond.😊
Wow Ruby is adorable. It's inspiring to see someone so kind.
What an awesome school. The teachers and administrators seem to foster such an inclusive and positive environment and it's so heartwarming to see.
Me looking at Avery's and Ruby's friendship makes me smile, they both are so cute 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
Something I wished I had.
Ruby truly is child of light, such a pure soul.
The community can finally show our support and love in the comments 😍❤️
Aw her mother is so sweet. So glad the comments are back on by the way!
Ruby is adorable! She really brighten up the people around her, and the people in this video are all so awesome~ I especially love her friendship with Avery! So cute and pure
“You bonked my foot” lol this made me crack up! Ruby is such a wonderful and special little girl and I am super glad her school is so supportive of Ruby and Avery seeing those two together makes me wanna cry, their love is unconditional.
You can tell the other students genuinely love Ruby....they are all awesome and Ruby is amazing! It would be impossible not to love such a sweet soul.
Ruby needs to do tours. We all need a chance to meet Ruby! These videos are amazing. When I was growing up in the early 1980’s, my elementary school opened one of the very first classrooms for kids with special needs in the area. I was a peer tutor, and will never forget the love those kids gave.
X2 I also want to meet her 😍😍😍
@munnoh1029 SOMEONE SAID IT
Avery and Ruby's friendship is fantastic! My son was special needs his two best friends were from his class. It's so important to have those buddies and friendships.
This school is truly one of the most amazing schools I've ever witnessed. Wow, what a wonderful group of students and teachers ❤️
This particular episode filled my soul so much. 😇 The saying “It takes a village” is an understatement. Wow! I smiled, laughed, cried, and was filled with so much hope for humanity after watching. I wish nothing but the best for everyone involved! Beautiful…JUST BEAUTIFUL!!!💗 MY BUCKET WAS DEFINITELY FILLED!!!!! ❤️🌊❤️
Her friend who helps her at school and home is very compassionate. Her parents have nurtured her well. We need more willimg hearts like her. Blessings.
So very very sweet and heartwarming to see how everyone around Ruby just care for her with tenderness , love and acceptance. And how Ruby inspires everyone to be the best version of themselves to act with kindness. And i must say it all begins with her amazing mother who embrace , encourage , and truly love her daughter. Ruby is the sweetest little girl , and what a fullfilling life she has . A joy to watch this video.
It fills me with hope for the future when I see these kids being as caring and accepting as they are. It is easy to fear or ignore what we do not understand, and we miss out on so much because of it.
All the videos I've seen, this one included, there has been a resounding message between them. Not just from the people in the videos, or from the person about who the video is being made, but also Chris and Alyssa who make them.
Love, kindness, and compassion.
i am autistic and was left out of a lot of groups and activities. i was lucky to have a few friends but i was definitely left out of things sometimes. seeing these kids who love ruby so dearly, it gives me hope. the kids are alright.
I bet that special needs teachers look at life so differently than most. I imagine they have a developed appreciation for so much that we take for granted. Life is so beautiful. It can be very harsh as well but with a simple shift of perspective the beauty shines through
Ruby and avery do a great team, also love those school employees, they all seem so caring and full of love, the world needs more of people like them ready to help and care that much, wish all you the best
Ruby is just simply adorable. Winning attitude, spunky. She Def gonna get far in her life. She has so much love.. Love you ruby
Now I understand why her name is Ruby. She is a pure gem!!
I genuinely wish everyone on this planet had the love and excitement for life and other people that Ruby does!!
🥰🥰🥰

“This is my Avery” Melted my heart!
Ruby is so happy and I LOVE IT! I love her happy flaps, I love her friendship with Avery, I love her energy, I love her love for life! How could you not want to love her and do everything for her?
I love all the kind people around Ruby and Avery. The other students and school staff are so nice and kind working with her. So wonderful ❤️
Amazing young lady, amazing mom, amazing teacher's and especially amazing friends. This is so inspiring!!!! 🥺🥺
Dear Ruby, I love you so much, I’ve watched this multiple times already 😂💜🧡💛💚💙❤️ Never change, because you’re an incredible human and a very bright light this world needs. All the Love, Addie

This girl is amazing. SO kind and carefree while having Stromme syndrome and we " normal " people feel like its the end of the world for the silliest of things
Not to be rude, I respect this girl but like she has people who care for her...of course she'll be carefree!
While us "normal" people have to work for a living, worry about bills and taxes, study...try to use your brain a little, instead of being toxic while trying to be positive
@@ivyme5783 Its looks like you are one of those people who start with "not to be rude" to justify their toxicity afterwards. With that in mind it is you who should follow your own words and be positive to positive things people saying towards people who cant enjoy life at all.
Dont you dare tell me you would like to be in her place with all of her problems instead of yours because of your everyday difficulties.
You should follow your own advice. Not to be rude but you have to use your brain alittle instead of being toxic while trying to be positive.
@@bestofmusicchannel I think he just wasn't paying attention to the silly things part not things that are serious but I agree with you for the most part
Sooooooo true.
@@ivyme5783 "Not to be rude"
Also you: "Try to use your brain a little"
'Not to be rude is always followed by something rude. There was no toxicity in that person's comment, but there certainly was in yours. Pretty ironic.
This showed up randomly on my feed and I'm so glad it did. Ruby is so precious. Her and Avery are so sweet. Seeing her speech therapist talk about how she had difficulty communicating and interacting with others at first surprised me given her interactions with Avery. Watching her with her best friend you would never think that. She's so gentle and reassuring and confident with her, always talking with her and waiting for her response. It's so amazing to see. She's pure light and sunshine.
As someone who grew up with disabilities, I can confirm that yes, that love shown by Ruby’s friends is absolutely genuine. I always had a friend, from the beginning of preschool, to university, to my adult life, that loved me deeply and uncomplicatedly, exactly the way I was. They protected me from bullies, always knew when I was overwhelmed and would take me somewhere quiet, and just…loved me.
Similarly, I bonded with other people with disabilities - a great friend from the time we were 5, has spina bifida. All through middle school, I spent my lunches with her, and that bond flourished. Neither of us cared what others thought, and we stuck by each other. And my circle of friends happily welcomed her. And yeah, there was never any drama, just a circle of love.
❤ My heart is so full right now.
She's adorable you can tell that's she's a very special person and has a beautiful soul. Same with Avery just adorable.
I love seeing Ruby! She reminds me to find the joy in things. I'm 15, and come back to this video at least twice a year for three or so years currently. Thank you for showing us Ruby, Avery, and the fantastic people in their daily lives! This channel is angel's work
Those rolling seat things used to be my favorite in gym class!
So glad Ruby has all those nice friends.

Her speech here is really good! Showing off the fruits of her practice, I guess. Fair play!
All the girls were so nice to Ruby. Seems like a wonderful school.
it's heartwarming to see how supportive and inclusive Ruby's school is, the faculty and students alike. it's not only positive for kids like Ruby and Avery, but all the neurotypical students as well, teaching them acceptance for all no matter the differences one may have.
also i love Ruby, she's such a ray of sunshine in this world!!☀💖
I am so glad Ruby has friends! When she said she was going to push Avery and her mom was all like good! I was in complete confusion thinking she was like going to hurt a child. lol
Oh my gosh I never even thought of that!! Good thing Ruby is way too nice to do something like that
i found Ruby's connection with her dog incredibly heart warming, you can see how much she loves her, it reminds you what amazing animals they are and what really matters in life. Ruby is lovely and has a very pure heart and has such a positive and uplifting influence on everyone around her, shes a very special soul.

Ruby and Avery really are angels. They both will be innocents forever. Their joy and happiness is so contagious!
Ruby and Avery are my fav people on this channel. they are both so very sweet and i would love to meet them one day! sending love and peace to Ruby and Avery. and also to anyone reading this comment.
I work as a behavioral health tech with kids and adults with specials needs and what really sucks is that 65% of the birth parents just abandon the child completely. And even when the parents take on the responsibility, the father is almost nonexistent.
Providing care for children, ALL children, takes time and money. Many times Dads fill the role of provider, requiring them to be away from family at work. The contribution of father's may not be as obvious but is extremely important
Avery and Ruby’s friendship is so wholesome 😭
It warms my heart when I saw the boys helping ruby and not just the girls, this school is amazing
This is awesome. This school seems filled with only nice people... Very different to my high-school!!
It's a private school, public school would be a completely different story.
I think Ruby is very intelligent, she just has challenges expressing it. She also has a good heart ❤ and is so darn positive.
You can definitely see the spark in Avery too. I believe she will progress in her ability to show it, especially with Ruby as an example and guide.
Those other kids are definitely getting a step up in life with the lessons they don't even know they are learning from these two.
When I saw Ruby's gorgeous smile I clicked on so fast! This is absolutely precious. Ruby, you are like sunshine. Thank you for sharing your smile and your awesomeness. Sending love from Portland Oregon. 🌹❤💕🌹
Ruby is pure love! And together with Avery, so much sweetness!❤️❤️❤️
Ruby has SUCH a good mom 🥺😭😭😭

Wow, I didn't realize that's what she was doing.. I see it now.. She's so dang adorable. What a sweetheart.. When she asked Stella to fill her bucket 🥺❤🥰
Ruby and Avery always make me smile, their attitudes are awesome and their positivity is infectious
I really don’t know if I’ve ever seen anything more pure and sweet than the friendship between Avery and Ruby!
Her excitement about everything is super infectious! I love the way she shakes her hands and shoulders all the time! What a sweet girl.
I wish I knew Ruby because she seems like the sweetest girl. I love seeing a girl that age that can't participate in drama since that's so unnatural. I'm sure her friends love that friendship too because there's no negative experiences within it. I also LOVE seeing a principal so invested in the students. As a child, all throughout my school years (elementary through high school) I knew who the principal was but I was lucky if I ever actually saw him/her. It was so rare. Yet, here he is reading to these students and dancing with them. He is awesome.
I really thank Ruby's friends. What a kind society Americans 🇺🇸have. So proud of you
unfortunately that’s not society for the most part. she has an exceptional group of friends. i wish every disabled kid had so many awesome friends. i’m autistic and was ostracized from so many groups, it sucked. i’m so happy that ruby has such great friends to hang with.
I wish there was a way that 'typical' people could go hang out with some special kids like Ruby, like a big brother big sister type thing, even if it's for a day! I've learned SO much from SBSK and I want to get to know some special kids in my area who are looking for friendship! I think that should be an option around the world. I am going to research in my area. If anyone knows of programs where I can help or volunteer, even if just for a day, please let me know!
I don't know where you live, but you can probably get a lot of info from your neighborhood elementary school. If you get a background check, you can volunteer to do things like read in the library or be a "big buddy" if you want to. It's really fun. I worked in an elementary Special Ed department and my favorite time was watching the "big buddies" (5th or 6th graders) come read to their buddies in Kindergarten. You won't regret it for a minute! 🥰 If your public school doesn't have a program, you could also try a children's hospital or your local community center. Have fun!
There totally are groups like that! I volunteered at the friendship circle a lot
@@matthewm3353 oh yeah! I was a big buddy when I was in school! And I volunteered for a reading program when I worked for the City of Tacoma for kids who had unstable homes or 'less fortunate' who maybe didn't have the type of environment at home where they could do homework, etc (think low income or DV, etc). I LOVED it and would love to do more!
Some high-schools have unified sports teams with typical students helping disabled students play sports. Some colleges and maybe high schools also have a Best Buddies program which is similar to what you are describing.
You can see that s she actually cares about Avery she is dancing and ask what her bestfriend is doing she is so cute
Ruby is such a blessing! Avery also shines. It's amazing how much she is loved by everyone she meets!
Such a sweet girl, she's got an awesome school with amazing teachers and an incredible bunch of friends, and her mother is an angel. Keep up the awesome work everybody!
Watching how much Love and kindness the other students have for her, and so understanding and genuine just warms the heart. They are the best examples of the way everyone should treat each other, it's just really nice to see.
Ruby and Avery are so precious, and Avery’s smile is absolutely the best I’ve seen. This video filled my bucket, I’m so glad I found it.
Ruby is special and all of her friends are so special too. What wonderful kids!
I know this was filmed years ago… but I just watched. I absolutely LOVE Ruby! She is the definition of what a human being should be; a beautiful pure heart and soul, accepting of everyone, always seeing the positive in life… and the biggest ray of sunshine! She is pure light! The world would be a perfect place if we all treated each other the way Ruby treats people and animals! I wish I could give her a great big hug and take in some of that angelic energy! YOU ARE SO LOVED RUBY!!!! From Michigan! 🌸🌺💞
You are such a wonderful human being, and it touches my heart to see the level of empathy you have for everyone you interview. We need more people like you in this world, to teach us how to be more inclusive and not discriminate each other for our differences. I appreciate everything you do and thank you for posting these videos.
I love Ruby's enthusiasm and passion ❤️ She is so sweet and takes care of her best friend in such a loving way. So many great people taking care of the kids, as Ruby's mother says. This whole video is full of love. Thank you, it does good ❤️
“It’s a pretty amazing life that she has” as someone with an IQ above average, I wouldn’t question that statement. She appears to be full of joy and overall profoundly happy. I can’t remember the time I was as happy as this girl. She has a substantial amount of friends that love and care for her, and a stable loving family. I find it absurd how people undermine her happy life simply due to her condition, she literally lives a happier life than the average person
Yeah. ❤ She's doing well because she's loved and understood, and because people are helping her out when she needs it. And she's bringing so much joy and kindness and purpose to the people around her - by being herself, being a friend, and allowing them to help. Maybe that could be true for all of us.
ruby is so precious, she makes my day everytime.
She is like 19 years old now which is crazy.
She is so full of love, kindness and caring, I wish we all had this
