The Keeley Fuzz Bender is really one of the most versatile and best sounding Fuzz Type Pedal I've played in a long time! Other Pedals may do sound slightly better in "their" sound but most of them are One-Trick-Ponies... Wether they are to dark sounding, don't handle Humbucker very well, etc etc...
This One here can handle them extremly well!!!
In the first part of the demo I'm trying to replicate some scooped Gilmour Tones like in the Time Solo & some darker fuzzier sounds like in the Echoes Solo from Live in Pompeij. Always playing with my @fender CS Strat into my clean Bassman Head. In the 2nd Part I'm dialing in some extreme Humbucker Fuzz Tones using my D'Angelico Premier DC Guitar.

This pedal sounds great! I agree that the EQ on the pedal makes fuzz useable! For me it’s always hard to find a use for fuzz but being able to dial in the tone and thickness of the fuzz is so valuable 🔥🔥🔥🔥

I bought one recently and I'm quite happy with it! Sounds amazing. The only downside for me is the loud screechy noise when I have both volume and treble maxed out. Does that happen with yours as well?

Hey! Great video, really nice playing! Just a quick question, has anyone tried this pedal with a Wah before him?
Im using a telecaster into a clean orange amp to test if I can get similar tones but its IMPOSSIBLE. I know that as soon as a fuzz has any germanium in it, one might sound different than the other but i never thought it would be this far hahah. I want your pedal (and your hands haha). Nice video man! great tones!

Thanks a lot! The best One Trick but best Germanium Fuzz was the Analogman NKT275. The best Silicon is the Expresso FX Silicon Fuzz and like I said at the end of the video the overall winner is the Keely cause it’s close sounding to the both mentioned before and super versatile... so, first 2 for the Studio, Keeley for the board 😁 love octafuzzes! Put it on my list! Thx for the suggestion.. btw I’m planning to do A LOT more videos cause that’s what I love to do 😎🤘
@@MartinFrydas I was hoping you wasn’t gonna say analogman (very $$$ for me) I have a few fuzz pedals but none of these that you have mentioned, I hope ya do more pedal vids, most people just review the pedal but don’t show you how to get famous tones with them. I think this is what people want, so they can relate to the type of effects/ ones.
@@rickyshoard yep, prices went crazy on the NKT versions... the „Problem“ is with copyrights... once you spent so much time doing reviews you have to get paid... so it’s difficult to cover - but yes, I also always wanted to hear famous sounds from demos 😂

Thank you! It does it ok - but like I said it’s more of a modern approach for people who don’t like fuzz - so it’s more an on off Pedal 😁🤘

Nice demo Martin. Pedal looks great. Very gilmourish. My doubt is...is that pedal humming when connected? It is so anoying for someone who wants to play at home of course at reasonable amp volume. Thanks
Hi! Hard to answer proper! Depends on so many things... single coils, HB‘s, Amp, power from the wall... in my environment it was quiet as it can be as a fuzz! A really great modern approach 🤘
@@MartinFrydas hi Martin. I use the Orange rt35W amp. Strato guitar with x3 single coils and power is 230. Thanks a lot for your answer. Unfortunately I am selling an overdrive j.rockett hrm pedal which is humming really loud ( in my opinion ) 😅
Sry for the delay 🙈 SC‘s are humming - can’t really avoid it. With lots of gain from any drive you’ll get hum.. but I got used to it... during playing nobody hears it and between I roll volume down or switch to position 2 or 4 which hum less ;)

I bought a Brand New one ,and some of the pots were bad ( right out of the box).
I sent it back,and they sent me a another New one, and it has bad pots also.
I bought one over a year ago and it's set in the box ever since. It was very farty sounding to me. I got one sound that I liked from it. It just doesn't do anything for me.
the 'classic' way to use a fuzz like that is to dime the volume and then dial in the fuzz. To each their own, but this is how the old guys did it. And you get clean tones by rolling off the guitar's volume knobs.
