big fan. getting into crypto mining asap and you've talked about this topic a few times already but this was one of your best videos to answer the question " should you get into mining ". Thanks so much for this explaination.
There is something very important to consider if you want to mine, especially using antminers. These units are made in China and they break down. So if you are relying on running a miner 24/7 for 6 months to just break even, you are risking a lot because these things fail and can cost thousands for replacement parts and technical skill to troubleshoot and repair. They are also very flakey and need rebooting often and constant monitoring to reduce downtime. This isn't a business where you let them sit and go live on an island partying somewhere. You need to be able to power cycle these devices often.

Been mining eth since 2017. Been watching Vosk to figure out how! Paid off my pc (2x 1050tis before DAG went to 4 GB) i started mining again on a desktop i purchased for my son for his birthday in October 2020 for $620. Already made $400 back on it (haven't been mining the entire time since October.) Just yesterday (may the 4th be with you) set up my first "eth mining rig." 3 1660 supers bought at scalper prices, my son's rx580, and a 3070 I got in the newegg shuffle (3070 will also be son's gaming gpu, now). At current prices, with 165MH and my .04747 cents per KWH, I should break even in roughly 8 months. $4000 total investment with projected $6200 made this year. That's even with paying $650 for each 1660 super ( luckily only $799 for the 3070). And as Vosk has stated in this video, that's not including selling the GPU's I bought. If (when) the price of eth goes up, it should break even that much sooner! Good luck have fun, everyone. Thanks for all the good advice, Vosk. You're a real awesome person. 😎
just found your channel, really interested with getting started and appreciate your honest vibe and energy, gonna proceed to watch all of your videos. Thanks!
Your videos inspired me to get in to mining, much thanks! I have several Helium and a couple MatchX units on the way to go with my new CHIA farming rig. GL to proof of work, but I think mining has evolved, again.
@@Bandobenz18 MatchX and CHIA are very early. Proof of coverage and proof of space/time are much more efficient than other consensus algorithms.. who knows how they’ll turn out against proof of work. Any computer with internal or external storage space can mine CHIA, but a faster processor and more RAM speeds up the plotting process, so you can get to farming sooner. The big cost comes in finding hard drives that are 8+ TB each so you can create more plots at once. Smaller hard drives have lower plotting capacity. If you like CHIA’s proof of space/time consensus.. miners are currently making over 1.6k per month with only 20TB of SSD/HDDs plotted and farming. The more storage space you have, the more plots you can write to them which will later be farmed for your rewards. Here’s a calculator to figure earnings based on your storage.. super lucrative: chiacalculator.com/
@@Bandobenz18 Vosk has done videos on MatchX.. the unit costs about $3,000 but you earn $10-14 per day minimum and you can have multiple miners in your house currently, but that may change in the future as they incentivize miners being placed further apart.
I've been doing a lot of research on Ethereum mining and I have learned a lot. Right now I am pool mining on my gaming pc with a 1660 ti. I want to get an ASIC miner but I'm worried that it won't be profitable. I'm looking for more long-term investment rather than make a quick buck and get out. I would really appreciate it if someone would help me out and give me some advice. I also love the videos and I'm learning a lot from watching them.

I assume it's not possible to build a beginner's rig with just one video card? Seems like you need a ton of cards?
How to link or connect mining to Crypto? What kinds and size of Computer need? How much Total investment for beginners? How much minimum or maximum investment? Etc
Ethereum Classic is the next coin to mine? It's the original Blockchain and it's up 350% for the week. Rather than buying a mining rig, would the same amount of money spent on BTC pay more or less than mining with dollar cost averaging?
Dude your about to change my life with this content your coming out with!! I can't think u enough. I know that don't mean much cause I'mma stranger on u tube.. I'm about to drop a little bag on some gear and get this shit crackin!! I can't afford the asic miner but I'm definitely looking into some MSI gpu equipment.. imma have to figure out how to set all this up!! I know u said your busy but I would legit pay u for your time for a walk through on how to set up my rigs after I get them. I hope u respond back to this man I'm so excited. U just made it to where I'm gonna no longer struggle in life!! I wanna mine some doge eeee 😆 💯🦍 🦍🦍
@Vöskcôíñ nah this ain't vosk. This is some Nigerian prince trying to get my money 💰 😂 nope not falling for it ya maggot 🪰🪰
What are the economics of mining... when the electricity comes 100% from solar panels... in a state like CA, NV or AZ where sunlight is strong most of the year? (One has to take into account the cost of the solar panels, of course).
Hypothetically if you had 30k to invest in miners which route would you take? I'm a noob never mined anything
Scam? No check mark?
So considering all high cost involved, is it profitable to start mining now or is it better to just buy the coins?
Is mining with your own personal computer still worthwhile if you live in an apartment where electricity is all inclusive in the rent?
How often are rigs hacked?
Dude that's exactly how I feel right now and I don't know much about computers but hell with it ,crypto is gonna be the future and I'm gonna be part of it , so any suggestion at all would be mighty appreciated , I'm building a rig with my old dell inspiron 560 with a HP 1200 watt server and breakout boards as the power supply for the GPUs and the dell PSU in the computer for the mother board and HDD 500gb of memory . I got 4 sticks of ram in the motherboard so I can upgrade to 32GB of ram if I need, (I think ?) . I'm thinking about going with the rtx3080 GPU if I can find some and then add on when I can afford to .I know ill only be making maybe a buck a day at first but thats what's nice about it I can grow the rig over time at my own pace .
Thank you, have you made a harddrive mining video yet?
I have GPU which I am using to mine etherum; But when etherum 2.0 coming, I won't be able to mine it with high profit anymore. Can I use GPU to mine Bitcoin in the pool
Hey im new in the mining world thanks to you. i want to ask you something i want to buy a new antminer s9se i wondering how much money i can win for one day for example? i wanted to buy but first i have to be sure if it worth it or no. I will be very glad if you help me and coment your opinon. Much respect from Albania
Is it safe to build my own miner? And is there a big possibility to get hacked or no?
You can. And yes, that's possible töo. Thanks for your feedback....

Hi need your expertise, after bobcat what other mining devices can a beginner get into ?
I actually just put together my first mining rig.. 10 gtx 1660 ti mining about $35 a day.
Hello,
How does this Bitcoin stuff really work? I think I'm interested
Can I start with $7000?
just found your channel, really interested with getting started and appreciate your honest vibe and energy, gonna proceed to watch all of your videos. Thanks!
So if mining is profitable WHY are there used rigs for sale?? Why would anyone sell?
Your videos inspired me to get in to mining, much thanks! I have several Helium and a couple MatchX units on the way to go with my new CHIA farming rig. GL to proof of work, but I think mining has evolved, again.
I have helium miners but are there some new projects/miners I can buy that are “early”. ? Thank u
