      Oh she got worried, but more because she then loses a breeding dog aka a way to make easy money to her. Once she had that threat she said she'd get the dog spayed probably figuring she would get have to prove it, but its too late she can't be trusted to do that after 2 litters by the same stud (I refuse to believe they were 2 different males that happened completely by accident)

    In the 8 years of breeding my dogs I have only sold 3 puppies with breeding rights. However remembering this case I spoke with my attorney when we wrote the contracts and if they breed the dogs there is a penalty per litter. It doesn't matter if they sell the puppies or give them away. Even if the puppies die legally they owe me and it will stand up in court, and has stood up in court. I can guarantee you that this woman sold the puppies. You don't accidentally breed with another pure bred.

    • @bobbirfosho236
      @bobbirfosho236 14 дней назад

      It's weird that as humans we either force animals to breed or take away their capabilities of breeding. But with that said, I find it ridiculous to sell dogs to people with a contract stating they can't have puppies of their own. It's sad that they want the dog back to basically force it to breed for their own purposes. A truly sad case for the animal. Puppy mills should be banned!

    • @wandahaines7143
      @wandahaines7143 14 дней назад

      @bobbirfosho236 There is a world of difference between a puppy mill and a responsible breeder. A responsible breeder is only going to give breeding rights to somebody who actually knows what they're doing and knows what to look for in the breed instead of just breeding them because you have two dogs of the same breed. The purpose of breeding should always be to better the breed. I worked with breeders for years and still have mentors to help me pick out the best features and to breed to enhance the best features,health, structure and personality . You can't go on RUclips or tik tock and learn. The only way to protect the dog/breed is to deny breeding rights unless they can prove that they know what they are doing. As far as forcing them to breed, have you never been around dogs? There is no forcing involved, quite the opposite. I also don't necessarily support blanket spay/neuter for pets. Actually long-term reputable studies (UC Davis did a fantastic study) are very definitive that the longer you leave the dog intact the healthier the dog. However very few dog owners are responsible enough to handle intact animals.

    This was actually the most confusing case I've come across.... So they sold the dog to her for the purpose of having a pet.. in their contract which she signed, it was agreed that the dog is to be spayed/neutered no longer than a year... but she didn't do that. As a matter of fact it's been 2 years and she still hasn't got the dog fixed. She claims the dog getting pregnant TWICE was an "accident" but if it was an "accident" the first time then why didn't she make it her priority to get the dog fixed right after this point?? ... so yeah she was lying... because how can you say the dog "accidentally" got pregnant TWICE and you STILL haven't got her fixed?? And say "you were too busy " huh??? I would've immediately got her fixed after the first pregnancy if it were an accident because I wouldn't want to keep figuring out what to do with all these puppies.... so her reason was just a complete lie. Or if she didn't have the money to do it then she should've just said that because that's more believable to me than "I was too busy". I'm not THAT damn busy to have a female dog who keeps getting pregnant by my male dog 🤦🏽‍♀️ And I think it was obvious she intended to breed and make more poodles 🐩 because you already have a male one then you go and purchase a FEMALE ONE 🤔 😒 Why not purchase another male one if you didn't have intentions for breeding? I was busy too. But I still found the time to get the dog fixed within 3 months of me getting her. When I got my labradoodle from a breeder stated right at the top of her contract that we had to fix the female doodle. Or the doodle would go back to the breeder. So I did that too. It's not that hard lady to get your dog fixed. I don't think she read the contract. I think she just signed it and right away as soon as she could bred the dog and sold all the puppies for profit because that's what she wanted to do. She had no attachment to that poodle. If I was just told by Judge Judy I had to give my dogs back. I would beg her to come up with another solution.

    My husband, being as kind as he was trying to be, bought me a very high priced male Maltese, and I told him it was that high of a price because of breeding, if it wasn’t for the fact that they sold us a sick puppy, my little man had Covid ,kennel, cough, pneumonia and three other things I can’t Spell LOL, after he got through that, I promptly got him fixed, and they had to pay him all the money back plus the vet bills, they would’ve put my sweet, sweet little man to sleep, he is now a little over a year and healthy as can be ,there’s enough dogs out in the world. Let’s enjoy the ones we have spay and neuter.👍🏻👍🏻✌🏻🐶💕

    Unfortunately because of the way the show is made, any financial penalty would have been paid by the producers. But in a just world she not only has to give back the dog but also is given a judgement against her, for the cost of a poodle x the number of puppies birthed. She said 5 dogs, $800 each (what she originally paid), so $4000.

But with that said, I find it ridiculous to sell dogs to people with a contract stating they can't have puppies of their own. It's sad that they want the dog back to basically force it to breed for their own purposes. A truly sad case for the animal. Puppy mills should be banned!

She will make up for it by breeding and selling the litter the next time around. She should have had to Give up all pups, even the ones she gave away to the original seller.
