I just took my dog to the vet yesterday as well and she’s expected at least 7 pups! Possibly 8 or maybe more. It was hard to see because the puppies are all lapping over each other and because of possible poop as well lol! But she’s good and healthy! Pups are due any day now!! 😆 good luck with your dog!
This is not very important information, but when my dog was pregnant we took her to the vet and vet said that there were 5 puppies . We were shocked when my dog gave birth to 11 puppies
If you don’t mind me asking, Where did you get those mats in the whelping box from? Been looking for something like that for my whelping box. Thanks so much 😃
I don't think the general public has any idea how many hours we invest in our puppies. I bred Dalmatians forc25 years. Raised, bred and showed AKC/UKC and did both conformation and obedience. About 10 years ago we switched to Chihuahuas. Yeah, huge difference in breeds, lol. I've enjoyed both breeds. We are now done we're in our late 50's and I always have a policy of taking back puppies and dogs we've bred, if owners can't keep their dog any longer for any reason. Being that we are older we had to chose a cut off to be here ourselves for any dog we've bred who is in need of being returned. I think you need to invest in wood fencing for the outdoors. The panels aren't very safe or efficient. I know that was a priority for us. We did it very early on after our first litter! I don't know what breed that is, they look like golden doodles. I personally don't believe in mixing breeds, but to each their own. It looks like you take all the appropriate conditions for raising a litter seriously. I have seen so many breeders take short cuts. Really there should never be short cuts in raising a litter, but I do see it a lot. It's nice to see your puppies are getting all the proper stimulation for their age and proper socialization. I admire the fact you are educating the general population about the work it takes to raise a successful litter. Puppies are a lot of hard work. The general public also doesn't understand the financial output to raise a litter. You should do a video on what it costs from before you even breed the bitch to the day a puppy goes to it's new home. People don't understand the layout of expense for a single puppy. People should be informed, so they can see we aren't ripping people off with our prices. I know we charged 1,800 for our Chihuahuas. People would freak out. Until I showed them the bills from their puppy. Good breeders rarely make a large profit. If they do, they're cutting corners. The layout we provided was typically 1,500$ per puppy. So we were making a modest 300$ per puppy. Most of that is reinvested in the living environment for the next litter. Always improving. Our last 9 or 10 litters, we bought puppy cams for the whelping room. People who were on the list got a code, where they could log in 24 hours a day to see the puppies at any time. I found prospective owners really enjoyed that!. I wish you much success with your current and upcoming litters. 😊❤😊
Hi Bailey! I’m a labradoodle and bernedoodle breeder in Canada and I am obsessed with your channel. Your channel has been a huge inspiration for me so thank YOU for all of the time you’ve spent investing in your program and sharing with others! Quick question - what is the brand of dog run you have in your nursery? The tall black wire ones? I want to see if I can find them here in Canada. Thanks so much in advance!!
Hey Bailey, just wondering if u have ever had a mother dog who just has no interest really in being around her puppies hardly and then stopped nursing by like 2 wks of age? In that case, what did u do? Obviously, supplement milk I understand, but did u remove the momma dog or insist that she be around them for a certain amt of time per day? Just looking for advice from someone who has been doing this a while...
I have not! I would recommend not breeding her again - some dogs are simply not meant to be a mom! As far as pups go supplement and then by 3 weeks start them on a puppy mush with goats milk or puppy formula mixed in!
Love seeing a breeder putting so much time in preparing the pups
OMG I love their wagging tails!!! They are so happy 🥰 And I love your adult doodles watching you every minute. You take such good care of your pups!!!
Puppies are growing so much, too precious and cute!!!!!
Love your channel. Watch it all the time
I cant wait till these pups grow up to see if they keep their coloring or if some will fade like dad ❤
could you do a video/tutorial on how to start your own dog breeding business? i would appreciate that so much! 💕🐶

The ones around the whelping boxes are Retriever kennels from Tractor Supply.
Just a beautiful litter 16:29

What is going to be the next video and how is going to be the next dog to have puppies
If I were you I would keep ms blossom 😍🥰
Do you take time off from having puppies 🐶 for just you two can have ❤
We do!
I’m glad to hear you guys make some time for you guys and your puppies and your program it’s amazing to watch
Finally first
Why are you breeding doodles and not poodles?😅
Why are pups not with mom dog? They benefit from that interaction.
And now dogs in animal shelters can’t get adopted
