    Well said and on point. Without ging we have nothing more than cool looking hands with poor power. Hakka Tong Long is the same. No ging, no power, might as well just do western boxing. Liked and Subscribed.

    Hi Bro. Looking good! Try pulling back with rear hand, as it will add momentum to the bui jee, adding the yin yang aspect to the movement. It will also allow you to absorb/defend and attack at the same time.
    Sifu Garry is awesome and very knowledgeable in kung fu and healing. He also has some awesome rare styles and knows how to break them down for real-world use. He teaches very direct and holds nothing back from day one. His teaching actually made me better at my other styles and just made everything click for me.
    All the best with your training!

    I hope your joints stay healthy, you're going to need them as you get older. You should be able to develop enough striking power with elastic force, which will be kinder on your joints and will strengthen tendons. As we get older muscles will deteriorate, so tendon strength and elasticity is a better long term investment, unless you need to kill someone now with your bare hands of course.

      Properly done, the muscles surrounding the joint takes the brunt of the force; you don't extend the limb quite fully. This takes time to build up to.

    This looks more like a jab. Good hip rotation, vertical motion, and quite snappy. Fa-jing, even before the chi level approach, should come from release and not contraction. It arrives not on a power curve, but all at once as one wave of momentum. It issues through the entire body, regardless of the shape the body is placed in, within the limits of Forms. See below for an example: ruclips.net/video/V2Qvo_BUmNU/видео.html

    • @modernwesternbuddhism7671
      @modernwesternbuddhism7671 2 года назад

      @@Bakmeipai You know it’s happening properly when it can be transmitted directly into an opponent’s hard external force (li jing), without colliding with that force. It bypasses the contact point like a big wave flowing in, as the whole body releases-relaxes (song-jing) into proper structure. This is a good demo: ruclips.net/video/YF6KSsrFyoA/видео.html

    • @modernwesternbuddhism7671
