This is a wonderful insight in kungfu and what a powerful and meaningful art Pak Mei is. I actually came across it through the game. I am a long time martial arts practitioner and this style looks very effective and powerful. Very inspiring documentary on the Chinese culture as well. Perhaps one day i come across one of you practitioners. For now i continue deepening my Jeet Kune Do and Taijquan knowledge and skills, and I'm always open to learn more. Thanks for making an excellent game and documentary!

Thank you Benjamin, for this fantastic documentary with English subtitles. You are very lucky to have met Sifu Lao Wei San. Often it's all about money, but this Sifu lives for his Kung Fu and wants to transfer that to someone worthy. He has a lot of faith in you, and that is nice to see.

The impressive game Sifu brought me here. The martial arts choreography in the game is outstanding and blew me away, which made me want to know more about the art. I think by now I have become infected with the Pak Mei virus haha, the more I learn about it the more I want to know. As a lifelong martial artist I have practiced various arts (Judo, Wing Chun, JKD, Karate and Aikibudo) and met multiple masters, Pak Mei looks powerful and effective and I recognize it immediately when I see a true Sifu. You are truly the definition of a Sifu. There are very few masters like you. Your students are lucky to have you. I wish I lived in Paris too then I would have started Pak Mei right away. Thank you for making the impressive game and this amazing
and inspiring documentary. It also gives a lot of insight into Kung Fu and Chinese culture. Wonderful also to see the bond between you and your Sifu. You are a gift to Pak Mei and have restored the honor of Kung Fu to the common public. Keep up the good work Sifu.
PS. My two year old son absolutely loves the Lion dance videos! Which, by the way, are also impressive performances.

xie xie, though i know what wude is and try to embody this even if i'm not teaching, i watched anyway. i could smell their was more to this video then the same ole stuff. at one time i had a student like Benjamin and i was elated that we met. unfortunately he had to move quite a few states away.
another student came and was very talented and smart. he was lured away by a sifu without WUDE which became apparent over time. there was one more a female and she was the best.
her pregnancy usurped her kung fu training along with an accident that should never have happened brought on by the same sifu who's wude is sorely lacking.
i have more to teach but don't think the one who can get it all will actually show up before i can no longer show them yang style far beyond the basic empty style usually seen today.

Speak in Cantonese. We can tell the sifu is a native canto speaker trying to speak in Mandarin. And most of us internationally watching this speak Cantonese. Especially a southern martial art like Pak Mei, speak in the mother tongue of where it's from.

great story 🙏 I hope that more and more people will understand that authentic kung fu isn't like wushu. I was lucky to find a master in italy who was tought by a tibetan monk and when i see pak mei style it's clear that it has nothing to do with wushu.
