Just so you know, the old man and the younger man when you "Get to the chopper!" (LOL couldn't help myself) the younger ones name is Tim and old man is his father... you should recognise them as the old man is your protagonist from The Forrest and the young man his his Son Tim!
Yep, the old guy and the dude with the countdown laptop are you from the first Forest and his son that you save at the end of that game.

When you going into the cube, the person that hit you when you crash landing was the one can't get in the cube. After the scene, the cube open and see the blob, the blob is that guy pointing the gun at you at the beginning.
ice cracking while you walk on it is one of the coolest and simultaneously frightening sounds in the world lol. grew up ice skating and snowmobiling on the lakes around my house that sound is all to familiar
❤ at the END…. that’s Timmy , kelvin & Virginia. That’s Timmy’s dad ( the original guy you were in the Forest) that hugs Timmy at the Chopper. The puffton guy is dead in the cafeteria ( name place card right in front of him). I read all the lore in the game and check out all art, pamphlets etc…

My good man, the guy in the cube with you was Timmy, the kid from the first game, and the old guy is his dad, the character you played in the first game. Virginia is now a multi billionaire who owns an island. Wife material? Yes. GGs, Mister Edged :)

Two guys at the end are the LeBlancs. Virginia is the only living Puffton. There is another shotgun location.
Armor works like this:
Leaf Armor - Stealth, low armor rating
Hide - basic armor kind of shit, may provide warmth, doesn't require cloth
Bone - basic go-to armor
Tech - strongest armor
Golden - great for mutants, infinite durability. Makes you use meds and food to heal
Red Mask - I believe skinnies ignore you
Gold Mask - Masked cannibals ignore you.

Oh I didn't realize you could stack the cat food after you open the can. That's good to know. I assume once the cat food is opened, that it will expire at some point?

Also GE, those square rock formations are real things- they’re called basalt columns. Because of the way lava cools and contracts, the ground cracks into long geometrical columns. They’re actually REALLY cool, there’s some neat formations in the world if you do some google imaging. There’s a place in Northern Ireland called the Giant’s Causeway made up of these.

If you build your shelter on the frozen lake it will be a floating fortress when spring comes, be sure to reinforce your zip line points and if you can make a ramp, if you're in a more shallow area close to shore your logs may generate support logs and reach the bottom allowing you to build a ramp
Also Kelvin and Virginia can breathe underwater, they can't swim but they can walk along the bottom of the lake
Sliding down a ledge while holding your survival guide in your right hand turns off friction and fall damage too, let's you slide down any slope, the sled also nullifies fall damage

Been waiting for this! You should check out the lore for this. The guy with the laptop and the grey haird man at the end will be very familiar to everyone who played the first game. I don't want to ruin it but recommend researching it. Its Shatter on RUclips has a very good timeline and explanation of a lot of the events and characters if interested in the story so far.

Just found out you can use the sled to go down cliffs, without taking any fall damage. May help for getting around a little more quickly
same with your building-guide-book. When you hold it you have the same physics as with a sled.
Just don't aim for the ocean, you WILL haul ass into it lol.
When ice fishing I have had the ice crack below and around me it is very scary I would hate to be there at night and that happen hah
imo the katana is great for parrying (short click, well timed right click) and its power attack is best for when someone is on the ground. At least it feels like that for me =)

I love the game and I agree the story isn't really the best thing about the game... It's the building and survival... But I wish they made the path to the ending a little more challenging like needing 4 different color keycards to get to lower levels and also harder fights and some sort of final boss fight like the thing just breeding babies or something but all in all I love the first game and this one is keeping up with the first ... Just keep making it better and I'll be playing and watching others play ... Great job so far.
Please keep going GE I am picking this up for myself the building style is something I have wanted in a game for so long, and the story seems like it will be good but I do not think that is the real end I think they did like they did in the first one were they gave you only half of the ending to start with
At 33:08 you can see what I was talking about on your previous videos. When you are indoors and it isn't dark, when you pull out the torch, it actually makes it darker. You could see the end of the hall until you pulled out the torch. When you walk around with the torch, it just makes it really hard on the people watching the video to see anything.

I was lmao 38secs in u look at Kelvin after u seen the big guy walking on the frozen lake. Kelvin points at something while ur looking at him and then bam u get spartan kicked. But yea Kelvin pointed.
Make a sled in the 3d printer and you can drop down any cliff with no damage. OP.
Oh, I guess there are two locations for both pistol and shotgun then. Cause the other one ya need to dig up.
Use the SLED for cliffs or anytime you're going down hill.
The absolute easiest way to deal with cannibals, especially when there are large groups, is to use the katana on their legs. It will cut off a leg and they will drop with one swipe. Then you can deal with the rest of the cannibals. Just rinse and repeat until all of the cannibals are down, then go back around and kill them.
Would like to see what a full set of tech armor looks like. To bad you can't see yourself.

Epic dungeon crawl! But, how did that slender-man survive five slugs point-blank: either the shotgun glitches and quickly disregards having been fired, or the item "targets" are necessary to zero-in both ammo types to figure where the hit-box is with that weapon. More than one enemy skipped being damaged down there, maybe your muzzle was clipping through them.

*HUGE STORY SPOILERS AHEAD*
The end chopper scene, the old man is the protagonist from the first game, and the guy in the cube is Timmy. That weird, "multi Timmy," event had something to do with his resurrection in the first game, though I'm not entirely sure what it is. "Silver Coat," is female, if you look closely. And, considering the contentious nature between Puffcorp and Sahara, she may have been sent to either sabotage, or stop, Puffcorp, from some of the theories I've read. Whoever silver coat is, you can see what happens when the Cube activates when the door opens again, that blob was Silver Coat (face is the same, though distorted). Also, the note about cycles, if you look at the drawing, denotes moon cycles. Pufftons had been missing for 31 weeks (a little over 7 months, and not long after you arrive on the island, the cube goes off again, bringing you to the 8th cycle. Another, "also," in the VIP dining hall with all the dead mutants, all of the tables have name placards. If you look around the main, large table, you'll notice old man Puffton's name on it. So, it's inferred he's dead. Places for Barbara and Virginia were vacant.

I have to say that for all the build up, the ending was disappointing and didn't really explain what happened to Virginia. Great game play though and I'd love to see you do more building. Cheers GameEdged xx

I think Kelvin is broken cause I sent him to get my arrows and watched the crossbow arrow change into a wooden one when he picked it up but of a bug.

The difficulty curve definitely feels a bit on the lazy, immersion-breaking "infinite enemy generator" side at this stage. Hope they find some alternative ways to make the game difficult.

That dude with the laptop was timmy leblanc the old guy that got out of heli was eric leblanc the forest protaginist, the silver shirt girl is megan cross apparently this game is focusing in parallel universes need to solve all the clues to find the story
That's one of the interpretations of it... but with all the information you get it could also be a VR simulation as well. I guess there will eventually be a 3rd game though.
So spoiler warning ⚠️...that old guy and young guy is the little boi and dad from the first game and the person in the silver is (theory) supposed to be the little girl from the end of the first game that dies and gets brought back with the other artifact...the pufftan parents of Virginia are dead u find them in different spots..there is a great video on yourube that goes through the lore so far in detail and gives a look at all the names on the books and letters u find and shows u who everyone is and stuff check it out👌🏾👍🏾✌🏾✌🏾..(edit) the video is by its shatter..great breakdown vid..also great playthrough edge
