You can currently survive any height drop if you use the sled btw. So any time you are blocked by a cliff you can just use that to drop down. lol

You can use the rope gun to transport logs for building . You can also use the sled when jumping off of mountains and not receive any damage.
btw u can eat direct of the ground if u hold E ✌
When you are on a hill equip the sled and jump and tap left click to slide down the hill. You won't get damaged
Where the helicopter pads were, if you go the other way from the way you went on the other side of the large river outlet on the beach, there are 2 large shark fishing settlements inhabited by the red mask tribe.
I find the crossbow is a one shot kill for moose. Great video 🎉😊
My Virginia laid down next to the fire in the snow and she snores. I also have a few bone chairs which she loves to sit in.

the shotgun is close to your base. it's the purple icon to right of your base if you are looking at the big mountain. its close to that cave that has the key card and food (bacon bits)

Best way I have found to use the Katana is to aim for the legs. You often dismember the legs making it easy to take down the cannibals. The mutants will just get stun locked.

@GameEdged maybe put a few torches on the highest points of your roof, may make it easier to find in the dark.. just a suggestion, loving the vids!!

@@timbaker2024 will yeah if she being food or something for you she sometimes gets stuck in one place so you have to go to her now and then it's a bug we can only hope for it to be fix soon hahaha

ge easter eggs their are caves in mountain empty but coool and you could go for a sled ride down the highest peak there are 6 empty caves in mountain oh and something i havent seen you do dig at wooden crosses
I get it's early access I understand that and all the bugs that may come with it. This game is awesome regardless and I can't wait for all the fixes and updates but that being said I know people are saying build by the bay of fresh water to get Virginia to stick around but we shouldn't have to build a base to accommodate for a companion to do what it should be able to do and I think that's why a couple of people don't even bother with her. You should be able to build wherever you want and she should follow! Perhaps it's just me anyway thanks for the fast uploads and great content!

Can't wait to get this game for PS5 first thing im going for is the shotgun and ammunition once I acquire a shovel that or the katana also im thinking of making my base a bit larger and setting up traps maybe even building it a bit higher off the ground so enemies can't get into it also here's an idea maybe make your defensive perimeter more defensive like with spikes and multilayered barriers to limit their movement and divert them to areas where you can take them out with ease either through traps or making it so you can shoot them down from a safe distance keeping them trapped in a specific location as for the mutants try to keep them as far away as possible from you and your base by causing them to get distracted by other enemies its all about strategy and using the environment to your advantage always have a plan and use any means necessary to buy yourself time to get it accomplished
You should do a massive build at the large waterfall location, a subsistence vibe to it.

I hope they add tracks and blood trails for wounded animals and cannibals/mutants. Make them easier to track....ya know...a bit more realistic. I mean YOU leave footprints after all.
I mean they made the Maybies leave a plow trail ffs, but the Moose didn't?
Time to work on the walking torrent by walking torrent I mean Virginia u once ask why she dont stay around the base so to answer that in my playthrough I kept her at mine by simply building everything she needed a bench by the fire and crop plot for every plant she brings u traps close enough so she wont have to travel far she has a hidden compassion feature the more u interact with the more she like when she is completely full she will follow u anywhere except in caves I beat it with her by my side but chose to stay

You can eat items directly (when you're full of them), rather than eat from your inventory, then pick up the new item.
There are 3 purple icons when you start a new game,
1- Man in the life raft where you get the hand gun.
2- Man hanging from a cliff where you get the flash light.
3- Man burried in a coffin (needs the shovel) with a shotgun...
All three are all reachable within the first 5-10 mins of starting a new game without going to the final area.
GE, please make a floating house.

Virginia's AI is easily the most frustrating part of the game. Even more than the other glitches, etc. in the game.
I really hope they make it worthwhile building cabins and perimeter defences. At the moment having a bed and a few shelves is no real reason to put the work into building it. Ya might as well put up a tarp and just have a storage shed with shelves. There’s got to be a reason and a purpose you need it. The spawning inside your base defeats the purpose of having a palisade wall. Devs please fix 🙏🏼
There really needs to be a payoff for building a house and some sort of cold storage to store perishables. I feel The Infected did that pretty well...winter should be a time to stay close to your base with stocked up supplies..
Why didn't you use the shotgun on the moose? I think Virginia likes being by water.
