Great review, you touched on things I haven't heard in others. I was so close to blind buying this when it came out with all the hype. But it was sold out everywhere. I think I'll get a decant to try it still.
I was super excited for this as a huge Black Sabbath and patchouli fan so I purchased a decant. so glad I did. its not for me at all. I find it very boozy and rosy, but an oldish rose. almost nana nickers old. I get zero passion fruit or caramel. mostly a powdery rose booze bomb. packaging is stunning though.
Many thanks for an excellent and detailed review my friend! As you mentioned, it is a powerful perfume that develops and has a very good longevity. It is indeed a unique perfume different from the mainstream. I got a compliment from a woman in a grocery store on this fragrance. I laughed a lot regarding the old woman vibes LOL. Thanks again 😎
Hey Megabro! Thank you for such a good request! This really pushed the envelope of what I knew for fragrance and for sure has helped me grow (not to mention added a nice gem to my collection 😎). Thanks again for always sticking around and watching my journey, I really appreciate you!
You're most welcome✌. I I'm glad you enjoy this fragrance. The patchouli type here is excellent and it goes well with the other ingredients. Much respect and my best megatronic wishes 🛸😎
Ordered a decant of this, should be coming on Tuesday. First smell is affected by other fragrances because I usually order 4 or more decants at a time, and I found most of my best fragrances by letting them sit and then smelling them again. I hope I like this.
I have been collecting for years and I have a wide range of fragrances that I like and Xerjoff is not one of them. Don't know why but I have not found one yet that I like.
Lol'd at "old woman" 😂
I like this one. Went through my decant. i guess it's finally time for a full bottle 😅
Good choice on the decant first approach for this one. Glad you like it!

I think a decant is probably a better choice, considering the price point.

Powdery ? Tony Iommi to me is amazing and the compliments I have had off this are many , I would say that this is for the men and not the boys .

Great to see you again

I hope you enjoy it or one of your other decants, Billi! Let me know what you think of the Monkey after you’ve given it a couple wears!
Try Naxos, At first I didn’t like it but now I’m absolutely in love and have a full bottle
So, perhaps recreates the authentic aroma of a Black Sabbath gig back in the 70’s?
Maybe not quite enough cigarettes 😅
You should have started with one of their more easy to wear fragrances and worked your way up from there.
Bro puff puff pass haha
😅
Not a fan of this at all. I find that most of Xerjoff's stuff doesn't quite live up to the hype I see online.
It seems that Xerjoff is rather polarizing, indeed.

If Monkey Special is any indicator of the rest of their offerings, I’d expect them all to be “acquired taste” sorts of fragrances.
