Very simple and easy to use! Get a lot of value for the money and it’s up and running super quick with very little learning curve! Always great to hear from your brother!
I learned that about 10 years ago! Should I need to make tabs at all match with a matter of minutes versus hours. It’s not a super big expense to get into and super easy to use!
Seems like you could mount a little laser pointer to the tracing stylus and get more accurate. It would be offset but that’s all relative. Does the trace save as a file that you can export? Like a DXF file?
Totally understand what you’re saying about the laser. I actually don’t know if the file can be exported as a DXF but you can definitely import it as a DXF from something like fusion 360. As much as it hurt me, I just sold this machine to two young men That are having a great time with it! Still liquidating the shop so I can travel full-time and not have anything in the shop. Definitely the most intuitive easy to use Cnc plasma! Absolutely love this machine and if I ever have a need for one again I will go buy an arc droid and pair it with the Everlast plasma cutter!
@@TRCa51 i recently purchased a Langmuir table. I have a couple everlast machines. I originally built a 4x4 table from scratch that users Mach3 for control. Works well. But so much of what I need is for small parts as you said. And the trace function is literally a game changer for fixing broken parts or quick fabrication with a template. I’m planning to get one for sure
I have recently sold mine as I’m liquidating my shop to go out on the road full-time after I finish this humvee build. If I’m ever in the market again, I will definitely buy a art droid again and the Everlast Plasma worked excellent with it. I think you’re going to absolutely love it! Thank you for subscribing. I have a lot going on with this Humvee camper Build , if you enjoy fabrication! Putting out a short video every day as well as a long once a week. Congratulations on your purchase!
@@wildcatwilly just to enjoy the process! If you can take the time to learn something like fusion 360 you’ll have more accurate parts and be able to do a lot more with York droid! I think it’s a really neat unit that allows you to make quick easy and accurate, as well as repeatable tabs for our project! cheers to you and good luck!
I’ll watch this later when I have more time. May be something I need. Thanks for posting.

A cnc plasma would step up the fabrication to a new level!

It's not a stylist. A stylist is a hairdresser. It's a "stylus"
Thank you for taking the time to let me know! Happy new year!
Alibre Cad is not compatible with Arcdroid. Their post processor, MeshCam, does not speak arcdroid..
