The summer heat is quickly descending on the sunshine state. Landing on fish right from the get go, before the oppressive heat gets the best of you (and the fishing) is paramount to success. My trips tend to be short this time of year so I always hope that my decisions about where to begin the day are good ones. On this mid-May morning, things went my way.
