I enjoy your videos. You're informative, enthusiastic, and grateful. You’re respectful to the environment and share your knowledge. For me, you’re the YoiuTuvbe guy that’s known for all the “let’s go guys”, “look at this guys”, and “here you go guys” ! Thanks for posting, I love watching warm water fishing, from the colder north. Keep it up!!
You weren't lying about getting lost out there. For real you could spend the night out there if the wind so much as changes directions. Use extreme caution getting to know this lake. It fishes so wild like old Florida 100 years ago
Can I just say thank you for not using ridiculously awful and misplaced music here?? People who make content dont realize that their favorite thrash metal song does not translate their fishing videos. This was fantastic, and those fish, I can hear them calling my name all the way up here in PA.
3 things..1, thank you for the video awesome job landing those tanks. 2, taking the old man down there in February of 24(we live in NC), any spots to recommend? 3, my tackle warehouse is pushing 300 bucks, any tackle to add for February? Colors? Thanks in advance, Greg
NC is an awesome place. I spent a lot of time there on the outside of Greenville. Check out my Headwaters vids for a few great locations. Several of them will give you locations to try. Lures: zoom magnum speed worm dark color, rattle trap, 1/2 oz jackhammer shiner color, wake bait, and live shiners. Good luck 👍
This is amazing! I’ve only been out to Headwaters once, but I didn’t do all that well, only about 7 the whole day with no size. I’m definitely trying this next time
Good stuff. I don't typically go further than the square lake due to being unfamiliar but this is a huge help. I'm going to give it a shot this Sunday with a buddy and work the good ol' Alumacraft back in them areas. Thanks!
Great info. Been there a few times and a little hesitant to venture that deep in the south side. But if I get there early I can take my time and maybe get close.
Norm… I’m really curious about the PVC pipes with the orange tops that I see in my lakes and headwaters lake also. Even my small 20 acre lakes in central Florida have them. Now I see them all over in headwaters too. Any clues???
@@NormGfishing Yeah I figured. I had 13 including a 5 and 4 on Friday and only 1 on Saturday… I think this weekend will be the juice. Warming up and that moon.
Great video - and THANK YOU for actually showing us exactly where to go...! A courtesy not often shared these days. Appreciated.
Jeff, happy to help 👊
Great job of laying out the lake for newcomers. Appreciate all your help.

Good luck Brandon. Hopefully we will get some warm weather soon. That should turn the bite on.
@@NormGfishing thanks brotha, next week looks like a warming trend leading up til Saturday, so that might be the day
Great Information, and catching 👌 what i hoped headwatwaters is all about💥🎣🤙
Norm love your videos keep them coming please. What is your set up with your wakebait?
Wake bait is self made. Any will do. I use a 7 ft medium rod, 17lbs mono, and 6:5:1 ratio reel and a lot of luck 🍀

Understood and it is good to be cautious. Take your time and you should be good 👍

The PVC pole are for shiner commercial fisherman. This is where they throw feed and the shiners move to those locations.
Might head here with my Kayak
There may be more fish on the North end closer to the kayak launch. At least lately.
@NormGfishing I haven't been in a while. Are they spawning?
@kesterharding1819 the cold water has brought the grass down. No spray needed.
Would you be interested in showing a couple of Alabama fisherman the ropes? Of course we would take care of you. What do you think?
I appreciate the offer. The local fishing guides would be the right people to show you the ropes. Fishing is just fun for me.
What day was this? I was out there this weekend and did terrible…
Fall, Sep timeframe. Cold fronts lock down the fish right now. Best way to catch them now is with shiners around the deep water hydrilla edges.
@@NormGfishing Yeah I figured. I had 13 including a 5 and 4 on Friday and only 1 on Saturday… I think this weekend will be the juice. Warming up and that moon.
@@Austindfell absolutely. Warmer temperatures will help the bite 👊
@@NormGfishing you gonna be out there this weekend? Thinking of going Friday to Monday
Let's chat buddy I'm in Jacksonville FL and would love to fish with you
