u are a legend this is the only tutorial on this I've found that actually says how to make the animation into your character. if it wasnt for this my game would have been called mrsquare and the character literally would have been the square sprite that unity gives an an option for creating a new sprite.

Hello I know I am a bit late but for some reason my PNG spritesheet does not actually show up as a spritesheet and the little play icon next to the preview doesn't't sow up any help

hi, better late than never. you should check the png file. also when you bring it into unity you can check the transperency etc and make sure its set to sprite 2d for memory efficiency

What do you do if you have multiple animations, like; walk, hit, attack 1 & 2, die, etc

Hello Mason, if you have multiple animations you have to select each animation frames, drag and drop them to rename as idle, repeat, select frames, drag and drop, rename walk etc

When i try to import small sprites (Say, 20x20) colors change a bit. is there any way to solve it? im using aseprite to do my sprites

is there a pixel perfect option in aesprite? also make sure to use the Sprite2d settings when importing. All the best

you should select point filter, not bi-linear

sorry about that. what you can do is create a new folder, right click and choose 'show in explorer' then drop your art assets there.
