Thank you, Kristina. This technique is actually the only way I can have a successful watercolor result. I am in no way an artist, but using this technique really helps me to achieve the look I'm going for. I love your videos, Kristina. Thank you for sharing your creative talents with us.
Wow wow wow. I love this. Still binge watching your watercolor videos. I never knew until a week or so that you loved watercolors. I’m learning so much. Thank you Kristina 💕💕💕
I love this technique! My mind is buzzing with butterflies in pink purple and blues, and fall leaves in rusts, browns, deep reds and orange! This is a fun technique, thank you for sharing it with us!
I'm about to scream... I had no idea you could use these stamp pads like this. I have about a dozen different colors. This is about to be super fun times ~ THANK YOU!!!!!
Gorgeous! I’ve often done it with outline stamps but solids are where it really shines and this is such a beautiful 😍😍😍 example of why we all need more solid stamps in our stash!
I was thinking I have seen leaves like this in nature with the speckled coloring. It seems to happen in fall as the leaves are just starting to turn. This is such a fun technique. Thank you!
Wow! I would never thought to watercolor over solid stamped images. Stunning! I love how this turned out. Thanks so much for shared will definitely give this technique a try.👍🏼
Beautiful card! And really if you look at leaves that have fallen, even some on the branches...they do have spots and speckles - and those are my favorite ones!
This is a lovely card and such a great technique. I just had to join you and paint along!! I used slightly different colours and a different stamp. I added a red element to make it a later autumn look. It was just a practice and I won't make this into a card, but will probably do another one and make a card from it. This was really fun. Thank you for sharing. 😊
I think I may have done this once, and I'm sure I've seen it before--somewhere. I do love the way your leaves turned out. They do look quite natural. I really like the colors you chose. I don't know that I would have thought to combine those particular hues. Great final card. Thanks for sharing, & have a wonderful day! :)
Gorgeous! I really love the look of this technique with this C9 stamp set. The distress ink colors you used are what made this card so pretty. I don't think I would have thought to mix these three greens together like this. Thanks so much for sharing your process and walking us through the technique! 💜
This is stunning. I want to go find something to paint right now. I do have a giggle for you. As you were painting, I saw a spot and thought oh she must have lost a drop of water on the paper, so that's why she wants to splot flick on the picture. Then as you went on I realized my fur baby has shook his own splot of something on my screen, it was me with the darker splot, lol. Hope you got a kick out of that, the joys of furry babies.
GREAT video and technique! Results are remarkable and I'm hoping, doable for all of us non artist types! Really, very impressive...thank you. Would love more like this...maybe with flowers...please?
Oooh! I know just the stamp set I want to try this with! And it’s leaves which is perfect for this time of year AND I’ve been wanting to start some fall cards. Thanks for the inspiration!
Very pretty card. I don't stamp with Distress ink for exactly the reason you described. It doesn't do a great job of leaving a solid image. But, for this process, it worked great. Can't wait to try it.
So lovely! I think this particular technique, in combination with the textured paper, would do quite well for images of fruits. Wouldn’t a lemon with its leaves look marvelous? xoxo - Lindsey 💌
Exciting card! I like the texture of the watercolor cardstock. The splatters seem to add movement and help to coordinate everything. Love it!! Thanks for sharing.
I remember watching Tim Holtz doing a demo for Distress Crayons and he did a similar technique, applied the crayons directly to the stamp laying down the colour then he lightly misted the water colour paper before stamping. he got a similar hand coloured image. This reminded me of that clip, the funny thing was he mentioned you, he said this technique was a cheat for all us mortals who can't water colour like you lol.
How beautiful! I love the look of doing this! Also I don't think I've said thank you for doing 5x7 cards, it helps because that is all I ever make are 5x7 cards! Thanks for the great inspiration as always! Love your videos - I've learned so much from you!
Perfection! I actually liked the look with just stamping and also once you water colored the leaves. I wonder what it would look like if once it dried you inked up the stamps in random places and stamped it again? Thanks for the inspiration!

I love this technique. I love that there is still a texture under the watercoloring. Beautiful colors as always. The finished design is beautiful.
Gorgeous! I’ve often done it with outline stamps but solids are where it really shines and this is such a beautiful 😍😍😍 example of why we all need more solid stamps in our stash!
Absolutely! Thanks, Julie!
