I recently became interested in a new creative outlet and found this to be perfect. I don't want to purchase an expensive machine 😣 and had watercolors and stamping ideas in my head. Thanks.
Hi Kristina 👋 thank you so much for taking the time to share your lovely tutorial I really enjoyed watching you demonstrate with the 3 different stencils my personal favorite was the leaf stencil fab watercolour i am really looking forward to watching you do a lot more tutorials useing stencils ....hope u have a good weekend 🦋x Lin in South Wales uk
Beautiful cards and I appreciate your recent infusion of 5x7 cards in your demonstrations. I like making the larger cards, so you switching it up is cool. TFS
First thing...you look amazing Kristina! Your hair style is beautiful. You are beautiful. Your cards are beautiful. So... this is a beautifully done video. Thank you so MUCH for sharing such talent.
Beautiful cards! I especially like the one with the leaves. I like how you controlled the color and placement of the ink. Great idea! Thank you for sharing your stencil ideas.
I knew Simon, Lawn Fawn, Hero Arts, etc. inks were waterproof, but never thought of using them with ink smooshing. Brilliant! I love all your cards here, especially the colors in the last one. Great tip for layering up the vellum to give a little more opacity, too. Thanks for sharing, and have a wonderful day! :)
I’ve been pulling out my stencils lately too. They make card making so easy. Love that heart one from Heffy Doodle. I can’t believe I don’t have that one yet.
Gorgeous! 😍 Thanks for sharing more ways to use stencils, I'm excited for the upcoming videos too. I've recently discovered how versatile they are when I got an embossing mat...now every one of my stencils is like an embossing folder too!
This is a fantastic video to watch & the tricks for working with vellum & stencils are remarkable, plus please let us know how you clean your stencils after using verse mark .
Thank you for sharing , yet again, some really great cards. I carefully looked through the supply list a few times to see what adhesive you were using for your sequins but don't think I see it. Can you please share that? Thanks again.
You know what I did? I accidentally cut the stencil on the wrong side and adhered it to the card... which after stenciling was left with sticky around the stencil! I wanted to rack my knuckles with a ruler! Then I thought.... GLITTER! So to save the background I poured glitter and burnished! SAVE! Sometimes I just want to throw my hands in the air! I have to remember how to die cut on masking paper the right way! Lol. Love these ideas! 💕🙋♀️
really awesomee techniques to learn as I am just getting some stencils myself. My question is: I do not have many inks, and the only inks I have so far are distress oxides, will most of these techniques work the same with these inks? (I don't have the money to go out and buy other inks right now, nor the storage area for them) Thanks.
i dont mean to be so off topic but does someone know of a way to log back into an Instagram account?? I somehow lost my login password. I would love any tricks you can offer me
@Mason Leonardo I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm trying it out now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
It would be really cool if you heat embossed your greeting in clear on the black card stock and used a metallic paint or something to go over it and so the embossed part would show through even thought it was clear while there would be a metallic background.
Great ideas there Kristina! I noticed you don’t start inking off your project first,do you just ink very lightly? Beautiful colour combo & gorgeous cards! Tfs
I’m wanting to invest in some really cool and different kind of stencils. Is there a place that you shop that is different than the standard crafty on line stores like SSS, LF, AMZN, WF, EH, etc? I’m looking for ones that are more 8x8 or so. I’m not having much luck when I’ve looked at the standard on line stores! Thank you for always sharing some of the most fun and cool tips, techniques and video content, Kristina! ~Katz
Loving revisiting some of your past videos during Stencil month 2024.
I LOVE seeing your radiant face and energy!!
The layered vellum really gives a nice, frosted look to the back of the card popping the sentiment beautifully. Loved this video.

All the cards look gorgeous. My favorite was the second with the heart at the centre . The rest of the stencil looked like part of a circuit board.

So many great ideas!
Thanks, Cathy!
Love it!!
Does the cutter on your xyron work if you push the blade down as you pull it across?
GEORGOUS!!!
Did you get a haircut? It looks shorter! I love it!
Is it release paper or masking paper.......
Masking paper. The release paper is the temporary backing on the masking paper that you peel off to reveal the sticky side of the masking paper.
fph! duh
Thank you for these awesome techniques! 🌷
