This game was my second game on the Gamecube (along with Super Mario Sunshine). It was nice to have Luigi finally have his time to shine and stop being second banana to Mario. I love in the 3DS remake when Luigi calls out for Mario, it's got a reverb effect.

I beat the game last night, and even with decent success, getting all the speedy spirits and such, only got me about 119 million, so yeah. Probably have to do hidden mansion. Good luck though, your vacuum doesn't get a power boost like in the original.
they tried their best to remake it but it isn't good, I also wish they used the original Luigi model but the 3ds is weaker than the GameCube so it's impossible unless they removed alot of polygons

Alecthegamer GD: Boolossus did give me some trouble, don’t get me wrong, but not as much as Mr. Luggs did. I couldn’t figure out how to catch him at first because of his fireball attacks, he would always defeat me until I figured out his strategy
This walkthrough was excellent and I loved it. It was even more thorough than your Gamecube walkthrough! My one criticism is that you still didn't get all of the gems (I think you missed a couple of the random Golden Mice). This wouldn't bother me, except that you said "All ... Gems" in the title and description, so it's a little dishonest.
Who noticed that, when Luigi tried to open the door leading to the Parlor, in the intro, the 3 tries and 2 knocks rythmes with the main theme ? It went "dum dumdum dum dum."
I love luigi's mansion 3ds, it really fixes up the original (2001) with a portrait ghost room,gooigi, heck, in 2-player mode YOU CAN PLAY AS HIM! Better load screens and much more, but the thing I don't like about it is because of Luigi, now overall they did great job, Luigi doesn't really give out too much emotion (in my opinion), actually it's his eyes that are the problem! Just think, when Luigi meets egad for the very first time, instead of looking down HE LOOKS FORWARD! Also when he laughs at Mario at the end, he looks like he's Fake laughing! Just look at him, does he have eyelids or what? And where's those tears he used to have in the 2001 version? I don't know if it's just me or what.
Wow Next Level Games and Nintendo did a pretty good job porting the game to the 3DS. For a Canadian company NLG’s games aren’t half bad. Punch Out Wii was fun and the Mario Strikers games are a blast. But it’s their work on the Luigi’s Mansion sequels that really makes them shine
So during dark moon, like halfway through... gooigi exists? Like fully working gooigi and Luigi wasn't able to use him? He was either in old clockwork or the hidden mine and he didn't let him use it?

You know what I would love to see being released some time soon? A Super Mario Sunshine 3DS remake. If they can remake this classic GameCube game for a 3DS then they can do the same with Super Mario Sunshine. Don't get me wrong, Super Mario 3D Land is fun, but actually better than fun, super fun, super duper fun, Super Mario duper fun, perfectly fun that is. I suddenly had a theory of why they went for the 3ds instead of the switch. The original game was going to contain 3d effects, however due to various constraints was something that was later dropped. So I wonder if the 3ds was chosen in part to add that lost functionality in. Of course it could also be simply that having dark moon already as a base made more sense to use as a base instead.
When you compare the original to Luigi’s mansion d at l moon, you really have to appreciate the effort they put in to making the game details better (IE Luigi has more fluid motion and isn’t as rigid) still I love the effort Nintendo put into these games

Has anybody noticed that in the future the dark moon pieces are from your save file?, I mean, the last you made, for example in my 3Ds, the progress from the first file is at 100% but in the second I’m still at paranormal chaos, and I still require 2 more dark moon pieces, and when he calls it shows all except for the last 2, here it shows them all except the last 3
Now that I’m seeing this again, I noticed something. The first few trick doors don’t have doormats. Of course, I had the map on the lower screen so I was safe there anyway, and they only ever got me when I had a brain fart WHICH HAPPENS TO EVERYONE! But I just noticed the doormats.
since you didn't capture all the ghost in the courtyard [Area 3 start] you technically didn't complete the game 100%, lots of people don't know that it's counted as a room since it's part of the Mansion
GOD I hate those golden mices in this game...why do they have to appear randomly?!? I screwed up 2 goddamn jems because apperantly my "luck" is just plain Bad.
