Thank you ever so much for this video. I was searching on RUclips for a OBS settings fix for low-end PC's and then your video had come up. Basically I was having problems with OBS Studio, I was using the in-built "Auto-Configuration Wizard" within OBS and I just kept getting this error message "Encoding overloaded! Consider turning down video settings or using a faster encoding preset." so I followed all of your steps to fix this issue and this helped big time. So again thank you ever so, so much my friend. This was & is really helpful for people like me who can't afford or get new hardware and trying to keep look after there hardware at it's best of it's lifetime.

Hello, I want to say thank you for the tutorial you made. It helped me a lot in improving the filming. First of all, I no longer have lag when filming, even if the resolution is not the best. For me it is a huge improvement. I have a weaker computer and your advice helped me a lot. I did a lot of settings from all the tutorials, but they failed. Thank you!

nice video. have you tested the SLOBS to OBS usage now days though ? When i last did it , they were within 1-2% of one another on CPU usage
That also depends on what you're doing, what plugins you're using, and how beefy your pc is.

My recordings lag no matter how high or low I put it. I realized my cpu usage was around 0.3% and sometimes even lower. Would using more of my cpu help with that?
What are all your processes on your pc?
dont follow this guide, using ur CPU to stream is literally the worst case scenario. dude is clueless.

Dayyyyyymn it worked
x264 uses your CPU to encode, this is only useful for gaming PCs with a strong CPU, or if you are using a second PC to record/stream. Change it to Nvidia NVENC H.264 or AMD AMF H.264. Modern graphics cards (Past 10 years) have a separate chip for this that doesn't effect your GPU while you play. This is especially true on older gaming PCs, which this video is geared towards.

i have i3-10105f and AMD RX 470 4gb, what should i use? x264 or h264 avc? i have lags in my replays sometimes, like a couple videos is alright but then it randomly starts lagging like is there 3 fps
Use your gpu's encoder. The H264.
@@omaceyt thanks man! i've noticed that when i have lags on my replays i just restart obs and do replay and there is no lags. how can i fix it so i dont have to reopen my obs?
why going for x264 if system is low end pc? like old cpu/gpu, more cpu usage so game will have less compute power so much laggy. even low end GTX series gpu's have NVEC that will affects lowest on system and gives almost same result.
can i still copy these settings if im using a gpu to stream
