  • Riding Turnbull Canyon. This is the first time I've been to Turnbull Canyon in many months...and it shows. There are moments where I shifted and the bike went into a false neutral, as well as me underestimating some of the hairpin turns. Definitely could use more practice riding here. Enjoy!

Nice road you have there, so close to your house.
Do no try to shift down to 1st gear entering a corner. This bike, and any bike for that matter, have enought torque.
You risk, as it show in one of the corners, to stay in neutral for too long and miss the corner. 1st gear is only for when you are about to stop.
    Keep riding brother! Stay safe

I wish that was my house lol, I was just complimenting it. But thanks for the tip, my instinct is to throw it into 1st before the corner, its a habit I will work on, ill definitely try leaving it in 2nd gear. Thanks for the advice

Big thanks again! I rode this canyon again, keeping it in 2nd instead of shifting down to 1st gear, made such a huge improvement on my ride. Appreciate it👍🏼

With a little more experience (...which you'll only get with a lot of driving over time), and a little more risk, you might become a good driver. Do not give up. Once you can do it, there is nothing better.

Thank you! Yes I definitely plan on riding more canyons for practice, this was the first time I've been here in a long time. I got a little more use to it and had a lot smoother of a ride coming down (uploading that part of the ride soon) but thanks for your support👍🏼❤️

I have same bike, 2020 model. I am not an expert but I think you should drive at higher gears. Actually I never shift down to first gear while riding, only when driving into garage or in parking lot.

Yes, thank you! Another user posted a comment telling me the same thing. Ever since I have been leaving it in 2nd gear. Made a huge difference in my riding! Thanks for the advice!👍🏼

Thank you! Will do. I started to trail brake a bit more on the ride down and felt a little more comfortable (video coming out soon) But will definitely practice more. Thanks for the support👍🏼

This looks like a great motorcycle road.

Yes it is! Although you have to be careful since there's usually touge racers going up and down, and often cross into the other lane...
