Seen them open for Chon years ago…..instantly became a fan. They’re now one of my top bands, without a doubt. No other band can make such amazing walls of sound, like Gates!
Did the monitors fail for the vocalist? He's clearly very skilled but everything sounds flat.... like ..... EVERYTHING. That's a shame. Welp. I'm going to listen to all the albums now. Always nice to hear the child of Caspian and Thrice. I look forward to it.

I went to see The Dear Hunter and the openers were Chon and Gates. One of the best shows I have ever seen. It was in a super small venue in DC too.
