I just saw them last month in Atlanta, GA and Joakim sounded fantastic. I am a singer, myself, and he sounds to me like he has a cold and hoarseness. There's nothing worse than trying to sing when you have a cold or any kind of congestion. Graveyard RAWKS!
Graveyard is my favorite modern band! I love these guys, I hope they come to Mexico so I can actually go see them live. They came to Houston last year, but the dates were no good for me, so I couldn't go, but I would have loved to be there! These guys sound awesome! They are constantly on my playlists!
Graveyard are rock legends for sure. His voice is like that of a rocklegend. Hisingen Blues one of the best rock albums ever. But I think his voice doesn't really hold up all the time live. Usually the case for many artists. Hard to be on tour and have good voice every set with how harsh you live on the road and playing every night.
They had 6 UK dates in 8 days. That is a lot for any voice. I was at the London gig. His voice was better but I think he was a bit drunk, had some sound problems, forgot to do the last song and came back for a second encore. Still an amazing performance but could have been even better
@@Vintagephonesarchive 6 Dates in 8 days is nothing. He should have been well warmed up. Though if he's anything like I was as a singer I did very little to help myself. Usual things like, durries, drink, drugs, fuck all water before/during/after and no sleep. Thats touring life for the most and thats why I got the fuck out. Also the pressure. lol

I had to know that singing like that would fuck your voice up....that style while it lasts sounds so good though. very rock and roll. we like the sound of tubes cranked till theyre burning up, guitars being set on fire and rockstars that die young from living so fast. nothing beautiful can last forever.

Joakim's voice box could use a little lubrication. I think he has done some damage year over year. The last few live recordings seem like it is degraded a bit. I'm going to see them in March, hopefully it will have healed by then...

I agree. This new drummer is okay, he can play, but it sounds to me like he is a metal drummer first, and this is a completely different style. He doesn't sound too comfortable with this genre.
His voice is awful at this gig....sadly and i don’t like their perfomance on stage...it seems like their just run down the setlist and thats it. I like them anyway!

My favorites are Blood Ceremony, The Bridge City Sinners, Jess and the Ancient Ones, Lucifer, The Oath, Thundermother, and Twin Temple.

Saw them open for Opeth in Houston in 2020. Amazing energy and emotion. Talked to them outside the venue after the show. So humble and approachable.
