🇫🇷 Tout comme Scorpions, @ACCEPTTUBE compte parmi les figures incontournables de la scène heavy metal allemande. Son histoire tumultueuse, marquée par de nombreuses séparations et reformations, a débuté à Solingen (en Allemagne de l’Ouest) au début des années 1970. Depuis, le groupe n’a cessé d’enchaîner les tubes et les tournées internationales, se hissant régulièrement au sommet des charts internationaux.
Nourri de textes engagés, le style incisif et puissant d’Accept a donné naissance à une discographie impressionnante qui s’étend de l’album éponyme Accept en 1979 à Humanoid en 2024. Au fil des décennies, les différentes productions du groupe teuton ont exercé une influence incontestable sur des pointures du metal comme Metallica ou encore Guns N’ Roses.
Plus de cinquante ans après sa création, le magnétisme d’Accept reste intact. Tenons-en pour preuve son effet sur le public du Hellfest : des hordes de métalleux se sont donné rendez-vous devant les Mainstages pour acclamer ces poids lourds du genre. Wolf Hoffmann, c’est à toi !

🇩🇪 Was die Scorpions für den deutschen Hard Rock sind, sind Accept für den heimischen Heavy Metal. Ihre bewegte Geschichte, die von zahlreichen Trennungen und Reunions durchzogen ist, begann Anfang der 1970er Jahre im Solingen, NRW. Seither hatte die Band jede Menge Hits, war auf zahlreichen internationalen Tourneen unterwegs und erklomm regelmäßig die Spitze der internationalen Charts.
Der prägnante und kraftvolle Stil von Accept mit seinen engagierten Texten hat eine beeindruckende Diskografie hervorgebracht, angefangen beim Album „Accept“ aus dem Jahr 1979 bis hin zum 2024 releasten „Humanoid“. Im Laufe der Jahrzehnte hatten die Produktionen der Band unbestreitbaren Einfluss auf andere Größen der Metal-Szene wie Metallica oder Guns N' Roses.
Auch mehr als 50 Jahre nach ihrer Gründung ist die Anziehungskraft von Accept ungebrochen. Ihre Wirkung auf das Hellfest-Publikum ist der beste Beweis: Horden von Metallern geben sich vor den Mainstages ein Stelldichein, um den Schwergewichten des Genres zuzujubeln. Bühne frei für Wolf Hoffman!

If you love Accept you should know that the band without UDO is not the same. The current singer is far from the class of Udo. The greedy Wolf Hoffman succeeded to expel all original members.

Crazy to think that many of these songs played most of the young folks where not even a thought lol, good Metal Music never will died , I seen Accept on their Balls to Wall Tour with KISS 1983 audience was a bit different more head banging , loud as you feck , they sound great ,

What an energy
I wasn't aware that they hired Joel Hoekstra for this tour. The guy is a monster guitar player, not to mention Uwe Lulis & of course Wolf Hoffman himself.
This is like a triple guitar attack of the highest level here and I like that Wolf gives to both of his co-guitarists some spotlights to shine.
I saw earlier this year that Hoekstra was just filling in on some summer festival gigs. Still... SO cool to see him up there with Wolf and Co.. Joel is a monster axe slinger.
Saw Joel with Accept live in Chile a few months ago and the guy is an incredible performer and great guy too! Asked him for pic and he didn't hesitate to say yes. It was the perfect replacement for Phil.

I wonder if they told Hoekstra he had to use the Framus Guitars like Wolf. I don't think I've ever seen him play them before.
@@troyjenkins578 I'd almost bank on that. He also probably figured "when in Rome...". I did notice the other guitarist sporting a Gibson V. Ironic since Gibson sued Framus and lost.

Accept broke my left eardrum back when I was 18, as I was in the front row and the amps were at stage level back then. It was definitely worth it to hear them back then with Peter Baltes and Udo, along with Wolf Hoffman. Just the battle scars of metal, which I am sure any metal fan would understand. I still have ringing in that ear, and it sounds like Neon Nights. I love their years with Herman Frank on rhythm guitar as well. They do not get credit for their amazing guitar tone, and bass lines as well as their very, very deep song catalog. They are still doing original music when most of the 80's metal bands are retired or playing old, worn songs. I miss Udo, Herman Frank and Peter Baltes, but I think that Mark Tornillo and Joel Hoekstra are doing an excellent job.

1. I'm not criticizing people's musical preferences, not the issue. To each his own. I'm criticizing misguided or ill-informed comments and clichés from posers who often pretend to be veteran purists despite their limited knowledge of the band's back catalog and history. In other words, you are free to dislike the evolution of Accept, but spare us your pseudo-expertise, when you're actually ignorant.
2. As a diehard fan who's been listening to the band for over 40 years, I obviously know their repertoire in depth far beyond the obvious classics.
My words! In my opinion, Accept is currently stronger than ever before (especially with three guitarists live)! They deliver a great show every time and are also able to keep a very high level at their new studio records! Accept rules 🤘🤘🤘
@@tobias3023 And the problem, people who complain about three guitars are so ignorant in music, they don't even realize that earlier albums already used more than two guitar parts in 80s classic albums. That's precisely why having three guitars is the least they can do to approach the original arrangement of the song. But people focus on image instead of the musical content. Since the two guitars axe was an iconic image, they assumed bullshit, don't get passed that image. They are easilly deceived by marketing.

Not sure Wolf would be willing to write some new music with Joel.....but the thought of it is really exciting...2 incredible guitar players.....I also thought that Mark sounded great.

Bin da voll bei dir. Ich bin 21, seit knappen 2 Jahren riesiger Accept-Fan und habe sie letztes Jahr auch schon live gesehen (heuer im November noch 2x). Abgesehen, dass ich Mark Tornillo im höheren Alter besser finde als Udo, ist es mir wurscht, wie viel Gründungsmitglieder dabei sind. Jeder von ihnen ist beherrscht sein jeweiliges Fach sehr gut und trägt gleichermaßen zu einer saugeilen Show bei!

Just saw UDO few days ago in New Bedford MA. Smoked a cigg bummed from Sven Dirksneider , talked to Peter Baltez and the rest of the day and EVERYONE SIGNED my hat. Got the new UDO touchdown vinyl signed by every one! Got an UDO pin for the front of the hat its so sick. I also got the guitar players pick and i used to play my SG and it was like using magic haha. Btw lindsay their merch girl is the best ended up getting her number and social media. But you have no idea how good UDO SOUNDS AND THEY ARE SOOO NICE!!! Perfect 30th birthday present!!!!! Accept will be providence sooon too but i felt the true soul while being two feet from UDO as he sung his heart out. Felt like family after smoking and chatting with everyone. HEAVY METAL GERMANY EST 1952!!!

*Edit 2 semaines plus tard : j'ai acheté le dernier album d'U.D.O., et j'ai adoré. Maintenant, je kiffe son groupe, même si je trouve toujours, que, techniquement parlant, Mark Tornillo est meilleur.

Отличная кавер версия в вокале на Удо Дикшнайдера, Удо всегда будет не повторим, и не кто его не заменить на этой сцене, после ухода из группы Удо, извините я даже не знаю по имени этого вокалиста, который так копирует голос Удо, ему удаётся это, но Удо для меня кумир моего детства, а мне 57 лет, вообще всё хорошо звучит это копия голоса Удо

Hellfest c'est un peu ça , que des bonnes pointures . Pour faire venir le maximum de mondes , c'est normal ça se paie chère pour les billets. Après les autres groupes , moins connues ont plus de difficulté à se faire une place . C'est le jeux Hellfest, comme le loto. Vu que les anciens groupes de hard , ont au moins 40 ans de carrière derrière eux, si ce n'est plus . Évidemment que le public , veut écouter leurs titres préférés . Même Accepte ce permet , des chants d'une certaine période controversé. Ils savent y faire , ils ont du métier dans les mains . Et la célébrité depuis longtemps, comme Saxons . Alors ça veut dire que Accepte est là, pour de nombreuses années encore ❤❤❤❤ Pour notre plus grand plaisir ,les guitariste 🎸 font du bon travail, très mélodique , avec la voix du chanteur parfaite 😂😂😂

Porque se escucha tan baja la guitarra de Joel Hoeskstra. Hasta la de Uwe sonaba con mucho mas volumen. No le encuentro ningún sentido que inviten a un tremendo guitarrista como Joel y su guitarra suena tan baja. Es una falta de respeto. La única explicación es que Wolf Hoffmann es un cabrón que solo quiere destacar el. Ojo que siempre he sido fan de Accept. Debería llamarse Wolf Hoffmann la banda y no Accept. A pesar de aquello el concierto estuvo muy bueno.
