  • This is a brief round up of the walks we completed on our July trip to the Lake District other than those already posted in separate longer videos.
They include firstly, a wonderful walk to Yew Bank onto HARD KNOTT, The Eskdale Needle and the Hardknott Roman Fort. Then we complete the classic Wast Water adventure of ILLGILL HEAD and WHIN RIGG. We then show you a trip on the ESKDALE to RAVENGLASS RAILWAY that ended in a major disaster. Lastly we bring you our adventure in brief over MIDDLE FELL, SEATALLAN and BUCKBARROW that includes a quick visit to Joss Naylor's Cairn. NO NARRATION but some fun with the music, we hope you enjoy the ride

Very close call. Glad he missed his head. Jess. I did The Mosedale round (with add one) in Late April this year. Descended off yewbarrow in snow at 1630. What a day that was 😮‍💨. You seem to have dropped a few of the regulars from the walks? Hope everyone is well. I had a similar fall experience just last month when I jumped over a bag of path repair stones at Easedale missed my footing and the other leg got caught in the bags handle.: just missed a rock to head by millimetres.

Nasty, sounds like anothe close call as well Colin. Your round sounded fantastic in the snow, I hope to do something similar if the snow turns up this year.

Hey there from the US! Just found you from over on Alan Metalman's page. Happily just subbed to your channel to support a fellow RUclips vlogger and hiker out there. Love watching hikes and outdoor channels from around the world. Looking forward to following along with your adventures. ~RVA~

Hi Graham great video it still makes me cringe seeing that but I am more or less mended now and looking to get myself back out with some easy walks before hitting the Lakes again to finish off what I started.
See you soon my buddies and yes I really did enjoy all aspects of the trip even though I had the fall. 👍🍺
