The second bedroom actually does have a Murphy bed in it. It’s a sofa wall bed. You pull the shelf over the sofa down to set up the bed. That makes it possible for the second bedroom to double as a sitting room/home office.
New York definitely has its own definition of quiet. I knew someone that grew up in New York City. She moved to Colorado and she hated it. She didn't like the wide open spaces, she didn't like the mountains, and she thought it was too quiet. We thought she was weird.
I can relate.. born and raised in Toronto but all my family lives in Prince Edward Island.. and anytime I’m there I get bored after the first week and can’t wait to get back to the city.
I can’t tell you how much I love this apartment! I can see myself living in it. I never thought a place could be so quiet near Macys, in that neighborhood, but you found it, Cash, it’s perfect!❤
I love when you show the address. I'm 10 states away, but I like to look the building up on the internet and see what else is available there. Floor plans are an extra bonus.
Monthly HOA fee is $2,157 and monthly property taxes about $2,000. Well, if one can afford to buy that beautiful apartment, hopefully one can afford the monthly expenses.
Fantastic place!! Love the video and the humor. The woman Nicole reminds me of Carol Leifer the inspiration for Elaine Benes and a writer for Seinfeld. The location is like the center of the universe I would have said many years ago.
Yes, it's a beautiful place and I'm glad that you can share how the other 75% live... Hope you get better soon, Cash! Your dedication to filming while sick is amazing. Thank you from Costa Rica!!
Beautiful apartment and layout in a lovely building with super amenities. Fantastic neighborhood. Great kitchen and bathrooms, but I thought the bedrooms were a little small. And that patio! Pretty perfect! Loved the video!
Oh I really like this 1! Whoever they use for staging did a phenomenal job! Compared to other places we've seen this really gives an almost lived in feel. & that terrace! Wow, definitely enough room for outdoor entertaining. I think the only thing I want impressed with were the bedroom sizes. I thought they would be larger than what they are. Other than that, definitely worth the money!
A True Gem indeed🌟I love it!!! Once You're inside You cant tell You are actually in the City. Has Single Family Home Vibes. I loved it!!!Great showing Cash. You Rock!!👏👏👏
Quite elegant, checking all the boxes. An excellent layout, and all the amenities that I might want. Sadly, even if someone bought this place for me I couldn't afford to furnish it in the expected style, much less pay the monthly fees required.
This one is gorgeous. I like the outdoor area...even the surrounding buildings look nice. You can have a very nice little garden out there. I like that it's on the 3rd floor....not too high, but high enough. The bathroom sinks and faucets are very unique. It's a beautiful place! I really enjoy your videos. You show it all, in all parts of the city, with a great sense of humor.
Just as most.of the US came out of lock down, a conveyor belt sushi chain from Japan, Kura Sushi, opened up shops all over the country, with one opening soon in Flushing.
It's adorable that you guys think Connecticut is quiet!😁😎 Fairfield County where I am wants SO BADLY to be part of New York!! Here in this part of CT. it's at least as overcrowded as NYC! Don't Even get me started on traffic!😁😎 Love your channel! Always get a kick out of how close you get the camera in people's faces and especially when Charles tells you don't break stuff!😁😎😂😂✌🏻👍🏻
Great videos and entertaining visits to locations in NYC , I lived in the Penthouse you show in the beginning of this videos, with the green copper roof. 220 5th ave. Lived there in the 70's -80's . We were artists and had the top floors, 20-21, upstairs studio and downstairs was living. Of course it was a Commercial building. We tried without success to get a AIR certification, but we just continued a low key lifestyle for years, as we had the space 8-9 years. It was a great studio. We were listed as Penthouse Studios. On the west side we made a terrace , 35'x 12' and I hauled up dirt in bags from a local nursery over on 7th ave, built a wooden planter and planted a hedge. We were the ones that replaced the large north window to clear safety glass, as it was all safety glass with chicken wire in it and there were cracked panes . 3 huge skylights span the top floor. I bought about 6 big Ficus trees which were about 12-13 ft for the upstairs. And Milton Glasser gave us a pair of Ringneck Doves , and of course you can guess what happen to that idea, they ALL enjoyed their life in the Penthouse Forest , with 20 ft a ceiling. Thanks for the Videos.
A perfect apartment in a great location. The patio makes this an urban oasis in which one can make a great garden. The in-unit laundry and the kitchen are awesome. The square footage, storage, and features are incredible. What is not to like?
3:17 Neat chandelier. I do like their attempt at keeping old school charm in the bathroom tub, and that white farm sink is cool too. Normally all white is very institutional looking, so they added wood paneling in the one bath. Great views..sitting out there looking at classic buildings with their gargoyles peering down - the green topped building ceiling has a skylight you can see through that large window. Beats the heck outta looking online, to be sure. Lemme write a 3 mil check. 😂
We use to have the Japanese restaurants with the conveyor. Real New Yorkers knew it. The one I went to was on 5th and 37th it was there for decades. You'd pick the plated food of your liking and be charged per plate. Went there at least 3 or 4 days a week.
Beautiful, BEAUTIFUL, space!!! The designer that staged this did an excellent job! I'd say $2.7M is the right price but... the only other thing that I would have loved is having an elevator that opens directly into the apartment. Maybe Wells Fargo will do some finagling and give me a loan to buy it.
Great layout. Love that it has laundry & outdoor space. Even though it's on the 3rd floor, if you want to impress your friends you can take them to the rooftop for a fabulous view
This one is my favorite. Perfect for me. 😊 Sounds like you’re fighting a cold, feel better soon. My husband and I have been dealing with it for two weeks. 🤧
Love everything about it bar the price! If had the money I'd be very happy living there. Great terrace and of course the best neighbourhood & views. Thanks Cash.
This is gorgeous!! You should have mentioned that the main bathroom has a Japanese set up with the shower to clean off with and the hot water filled tub waiting for your relax time. IF I were to move back to the US I would have to have this kind of set up!! Also about the kaiten sushi and pranksters, you mustn’t have heard about the recent news where a teen licked the Soy sauce, tea cups and touched the sushi going around putting spit on it. And put it on RUclips so he’s being indicted now. And kaiten are losing business 😭😭😭
Wow! This apartment is great! I especially love the upstairs bedroom/office area! I'm not sure how much work I would get done. I would be distracted - creating stories about the people who lived behind each of those windows and balconies! 😄
AHHHHHHHHHH.yep that's the Life! $2.7, 2bed, 2.5 bath & Terrace... in the middle of everything.. wonder if there was a parking garage nearby or on the sub basement level
Unaffordable for me, but I definitely like it. It has a very warm feeling to it especially being modern, that's unusual. All the fixtures where of high quality. I wonder how often the outside windows get cleaned... Or do they ever?
Yep, you're right, seems perfect in every way. There's just that nagging problem of the 2.7 mil. But if I ever win the lottery, I promise it will be YOU I'll be calling to find me one just like this one! How's that new baby? And Violet? Happy Easter!
I don’t get why everybody is ok with have buildings as the outdoor view. I could never go out there because all those people would be watching me read a book. They could easily figure out where my apt is. Even if I was higher up or even across from another luxury building- I’d be afraid of binoculars.😂❤😂
Really beautiful property! The layout is fantastic, but I think the bedrooms are both too small. The baths, kitchen and outdoor area are wonderful, and the glass around the balcony makes it feel more open and spacious. Nice tour Cash! Happy Easter 🐰🐣❤
Thank you for showing a really beautiful duplex home. The outdoor terrace is really nice with access to having water for your plants that you may place there. And yes, in the wintertime having the electrical outlets for a Santa Clause and reindeer set would be cute!!!! The upstairs bedrooms with the bathrooms are gorgeous with a study/office/three-bedroom living space. Finally, please continue you around about neighborhood tours as well. You continue to make me laugh about Dunkin Donuts!!!.Here in Chicago the fight is here with Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts. These two companies with their cool coffee products just get everyone's money!!! They do!!!Hahah!!!
I live in the country on smallish acreage and that deck with all those windows and eyes looking down on it would freak me out. But I guess it's better than no deck or outside space.
Oh .I'd bring in the 75 in wall mount TV then get a huge entertainment center with a fireplace..that would look amazing in the living room area. Beautiful place.
Hi Cash and to your friend that is a beautiful apartment in Herald Square NYC. Like the Empire State Building. I wish I can afford apt rent in NY. I hate to live near nosy neighbors. Always watching me go out. I am trying my best to stay frugal. I have to go out once in a while. Stay well and safe 👍
I love this place so much. The only critique I have is the lack of closet space in the primary bedroom. I know there was no space for a walk-in closet, but I think something could have been done to address that before construction. That's just my opinion. I have a large closet in my bedroom and I find that I'm having to steal space from the coat closet for my clothes, and I live alone. It confuses me when you call a two-story apartment a 'duplex' because most everywhere else in the US calls a 'duplex' a building with just 2 apartments. Similarly, in New York(and Chicago) a 'triplex' is a 3 floor apartment, and most everywhere else that's a building with 3 apartments. It's confusing. I actually had to look this up because I was so confused
Skyscrapers No thanks Bed in corner all Glass wall Earthquakes happen On this beautiful place we call home. That glass wall would be gone And probably the people.
That’s nice mine costs less than 500k and it’s bigger and the building has those amenities. Also I can just cross the bridge to manhattan. If you have money to spend it’s great
Cash I hope you let the other agent know you weren't feeling 100%. After all the talking you're doing and probably not feeling so hot, have some nice hot Licorice Tea, it will soothe and coat your throat and it's yummy!! Hope you start feeling better soon!! Cheers from Vantuckey, USA
As soon as I heard 5th Ave I knew it would be expensive but it actually wasn't as much as I thought it would be. My 1st time on 5th Ave I was like a kid in a candy store lol.
I always wanted to live in either NYC or LA, being an aspiring filmmaker/producer and also as someone who loves big city vibe...but honestly, the prices in NYC are just crazy. 2.7 million for 1400 sqft...Even in LA, the second most expensive city in the country you can find a house for 3 mil that would be twice as big and in less crowded area. Just the idea of sitting on that couch on the balcony and having people above me being able to watch me scares me. Big city is fun, but when I come home I wanna have my privacy, I don't want to feel like a cockroach or an ant. LA is better for entertainment industry anyway....however, if I was filthy rich, I would definitely buy a townhouse in Queens or Upper East side...those are lovely, magical...would want one even if only spent a month a year there.
OK that is the place for me. Love being on 5th Ave. The bathtub is almost a swimming pool. I'm not sure I can afford the hot water. I lust. Perfect place, not even 4 million. It's a steal. I am coming down to claim it. Leave my Toronto family to their inadequacies. I am moving on. Thanks Cash.
The second bedroom actually does have a Murphy bed in it. It’s a sofa wall bed. You pull the shelf over the sofa down to set up the bed. That makes it possible for the second bedroom to double as a sitting room/home office.
Was about to say the same thing, then saw your comment first! It's definitely a Murphy bed there already.
I was about to say the same thing too! Smart minds think alike 😜😂
Cash missed the memo.
Good photo catch! I was wondering what that was that looked suspiciously like a Murphy bed.
I was going to say the same thing! We have a very similar Murphy bed with shelves and a couch in the front.
These are best real estate videos on RUclips, never miss an episode
Thank you!!
I agree 💯%
Same!
@@CashJordanI actually like Chipotle but I go for a burrito bowl. What is better than Chipotle in your opinion?

About 50k annually doesnt sound too bad as opposed to some of the wild shit I see people paying
$50,000 a year plus $2.7 million? That's nuts!

You on the deck and 10 or 20 sets of neighbors eyes watching everything you do. Other than that… really beautiful home.
It's New York, so...
Guess you won't go outside to burn that doob. 😊
Yep.. No true privacy... But if concrete is one's idea of comforting serenity.. That's the spot.
They could put up privacy decorations on the balcony and get a sun umbrella thing
That is a murphy bed in the smaller bedroom. You just take the back couch cushions off and pulldown the bed. It's perfect for a studio apartment!

I love this place so much. The only critique I have is the lack of closet space in the primary bedroom. I know there was no space for a walk-in closet, but I think something could have been done to address that before construction. That's just my opinion. Gasp feet on the coffee table!.
Great apartment.
A place to visit, not to live. $2.7M and it's still naff, how did they manage that?
We have that same rotation Sushi place very popular in Fort Lee.

Two floors is the European definition of duplex apartment
A duplex where I live in Wisconsin is a 2 unit building with 2 houses side by side.
