We visited this location in 2018. It was so amazing to look around. We didn't stay due to how much travel we needed to finish our day. Thanks for taking us along. Great job.
Thanks for the kind words and thanks for watching! 🤗
Interesting/informative/entertaining. Spent quality time on different stretches of the " Mother Road " last century-!!!🤗. Unfortunately never spent time at the " El Rancho "😭.
I need to visit this place. Never heard of it before. Awesome!
Wow! I would love to visit there.
Another fun and amazing video!
Thanks Lizzie! ❤️
Place has gone down hill bad 😢
El rancho was still nice when I was a kid. My dad was a cop in Gallup in the 80s
Awww, that’s too bad to hear. This video was made about 2 years ago, and at that time it was still pretty amazing. Sad to hear.
And now it's outside rooms are yellow and red...looks like McDonalds...
Whaaat? Does it look OK, though? Or does it just look cheesy?
@@ObscuristTourist cheesy...the video posted is way old more than a year old...I live in gallup and pass by El Rancho on a daily basis...road construction seen in the background tells me that this was filmed before covid
@@Nic1Moreno I filmed it mid-COVID - so about November 2021
@@ObscuristTourist if you say so...what I can tell is the majority of what you have showen isn't something that was inside the place untill roughly 2005... there used to be a restaurant inside that was one of the best places to get a burger...I knew quite a few who lived inside ,we used knock on doors and run down the hallways , when monster trucks first started that was one place that used To be a place they would stop and stay and hold a event at red Rock state park..there is even a underground to the place very rarely do most ever make it or aware it exsists...they say it's haunted but I've never experienced anything and I've lived in the area my whole life...I'm 45 now and remember running around there at 5 yrs old..it was the best place to stop and fill up the largest cup you could find with ice...there was a shop next store where you could buy fire breakers jawbreaker for a nickel...but yeah I know the place like the back of my hand....
