    Ok, I just caught this video because I'm putting a Romeo Zero on my 43x MOS. Here are a few things I noticed about your video. One, Sig sells an adapter plate / shroud for mounting the Romeo Zero to a 43x MOS that already has the front holes drilled. Two, With the shroud in place, you probably would have had the clearance you needed without grinding down the screws. I can't say for certain because I haven't mounted mine yet, but it seems to make sense. and finally, the adhesive film you used to keep the battery in place is not for that purpose. It's provided with the sight because, on the Sig P365s that are optic cut from the factory have a hole drilled into them that, if not covered with the film, would cause dirt (burnt powder) to go into the optic from underneath damaging the optic. I was very happy, however, to see that the Romeo Zero fits the 43x MOS like it was made for it.

    Could you have uses the clear bottom seal as a template to cut the holes in the metal housing? I’m buying one of the awe for my 43xMOS and am worried if I drill incorrectly the sight will wobble n

      Now that you mentioned it. That would be a good idea. It was a pain in the ass drilling a hole on the plate. But i got it to fit after trial and error.

    Thank you for the video. It was very helpful. I was kinda fortunate, though. I ordered my Romeo zero through Optics Planit specifically for the G43X and the steel mounting plate came predrilled with the front holes.

    In case any is curious, SIG sells a shroud screw kit specifically for the 43x mos. It comes with a shroud that has the front post holes already drilled and it has the right screw size specific to the 43x mos. It's $35

    the protective housing / shield. would probably have made the screw raise up enough to not hit the internals. did You try that before grinding?

    • @ripcdburnme
      @ripcdburnme 2 года назад +2

      I"m putting mine together now, and this is what I was wondering. Also I"m noticing that with the shroud installed, the sight doesn't snap into the nubs on the slide, and its not as sturdy.
      I'm deciding whether to use it or not...

    $154?! You can get these for $100 or less any day of the week. I’ve seen them as low as $75 here in Oregon brand new. For that price you might as well find a veteran buddy to get you a vortex viper or venom.
