The correct mounting plate and torque screwdriver tell me you're a guy who likes things done the right way. Had my slide milled on 365 and the 507k is on the way. Went ahead and purchased the same wheeler torque screwdriver to ensure right inch lbs. Nice job.

When mounting a red dot, I’d advise installing it with the slide stripped. That way if you have Loctite squeeze out in an exposed cavity, like the extractor plunger tunnel, you can clean it out. Plus it would be an excellent time to do a rare cleaning and oiling of the parts in the slide.

      Seemed this worked fine 🙂

That’s why C&H sends their stuff with VC3 to mitigate that problem of loctite seepage into places it doesn’t need to find its way into. Apply the orange goop to the screws and let it set for about 20 minutes or so and they’re good to go.

DPP Titanium plate with the Holosun 507k xt is the way to go! The DPP plate is cut to fit the Glock 48 MOS to perfection! The screws fit perfect. (They even provide 2 for backup, all blue locktited). Perfect gun combination.

I had to file down the screws that came with the plate. One of the screws was long enough to bind on the extractor rod. This caused the extractor to lock in the open position and cause failures to extract.

My friend had a 43x and wanted to put on red dot on it. His initial plan was to sell his old one then buy a new glock 43x mos and then put on red dot on, I recommended he send the slide off the get milled which if you compare the prices of a regular glock and a MOS glock you save a decent chunk of money if you don't buy the MOS + the adaptor plate, makes slide milling a cheaper option actually.
