If the press turn is flashing dont pass, you effectively lose a turn. Only pass when there are still non flashing turns left
Yeah, the general rule is that you want to be hunting weaknesses or passing useless turns as long as there are no flashing icons, but as soon as they're all flashing, just use your action to do whatever you can. Throughout a buff or debuff, do damage, whatever.
At real high level play, you plan out the entire turn, and make sure that you never spend non-blinking icons until you need to.

You are correct that Lucifer's VA is colonel Campbell. Also Grandpa Max from Ben 10 and started voicing Lucifer in SMT 3 Nocturne's Remaster.
Hydra on first try, nice. Pretty impressive for a first time megaten player. When I first played V the damn thing needed 3 tries or so. I was playing on Hard but I also had played two 3 SMT games with the Press Turn system before that so.
Also a tip: Don't hoard your Essences too much! The skills they have will eventually be outclassed anyway so use them to teach your demons stuff.
Just remember to keep the ones with really good affinities (like ones that block elements or resist a bunch while only having one weakness) to change the Nahobino's weaknesses when you need to.
they are very lucky that Hydra did not did its Dark move again MC or did Fire Breath when Mermaid on field, otherwise they be dead
The Hydra! The first big challenge of the game, regardless of route.
This thing is a Greek monster, and it is particularly famous for being a creature faced by the demigod Heracles during a series of trials he faced called the Twelve Labors. Rather infamously, cutting off its heads would just cause more to regrow until Heracles figured out how to burn the stumps and stop it from regenerating. The monster is notably not weak to Fire in this game but cannot regenerate anyway, so it just resorts to flailing around in retaliation after its heads are shattered. XD
Fun fact: Halphas (and every member of the Fallen Race) Are based on demon Royalty from mythology.
25:37 you guys were really lucky there because if it weren’t for that, you guys could of have gotten hit by Hydra’s dark skill that can do good damage to your team (especially those who are weak to dark) and potentially being poisoned.
This happened to me!! Main character kept dying because he kept doing dark somehow they got lucky he didn’t do it to them but he would not leave nobobino alone I had to use essence to switch affinities 😭

Great job with the Hydra fight. Also don't worry about the Pazuzu fight. Its just the SMT experience.
Towers are welcome in the netherworld… unless it blows up in this episode, in which case, it is not.
I recommend you concentrate on 1 stat to raise i instead of balancing everything.
You can change your stat allocation later on so you don’t have to worry about anything.

Your first true big boss fight! I remember when I fought that thing what is I think based on Yamata no Orochi I died many times I did beat it later bosses felt honestly easier lol.
Hydra and Yamato-no-Orochi are both in this game. Though Hydra was used to secretly reference Yamato-no-Orochi due to plot spoilers.
@@deathcon6261 Ohhh ok I only played it during the first release on Switch and I kinda forgot some elements to the game, however I clear remember how much I struggled against that hydra boss fight lol but once I leveled and did some more side quests it went fine still died I think 1 or 2 times, maybe is only me but that boss was annoying lol.
interesting tidbit here, if you have hydra while talking to yamata no orochi in a fight they argue over who has more heads lol

You can use an essence to give additional elements to Leanan Shidhe
Evan's doing what I did my first playthrough and being a little too precious with the essences.
Get plenty of them, so use them, or so. I have learned a little too late to have made my first playthrough smooth
@@HollowGolem even havng played the original i still do that, im a horder when it comes to essences unless it has a resistance passive i can use on my favorite demons lol

I'm almost at the end pf the game and I still have halphas in my party. I refuse to leave my boy behind, you better believe I pump every single stat buff item into him.

lol i remember the first time i fought this guy in the original, hydra kicked my inexperianced ass so hard. almost felt bad fighting him again knowing all his tricks this time arround
It is a lot cheaper if you just use the recovery option at the shops instead of items.

I would love for the tower itself to be the demon
Human allies are always useful especially in boss fights since like the protagonist they can use items. Even if they don’t have the elemental weakness they use items to make up for it.

23:26 you have 2 half turns, you might as well attack or guard, not pass.
26:26 ok, good start. But, keep in mind the he would have used the flashy half turn for his attack. Then you’d have had to solid turns going into your 2 members hitting it’s weakness turning those to flashy half turns the angle and bowl cut could use. In short you technically wasted an attack, but you are learning to only pass if you have a solid full turn.

Not really, they're explicit that it's moon phases. It seems like the Kagutsuchi in this Vortex World are mostly impotent and don't have much energy nor the power to change. It almost seems like this Vortex World didn't form properly, maybe YHVH meddled with its creation or something. Either way, they're moon phases, unlike Nocturne.
