Thanks! Now I gotta go change my moms brakes
Great video. Super educational. You said the hybrid uses the same brake parts...I mean pads ?
Is this for the EX-L? Thought EX-L had the clip in pad on inner and the sticky pad on outside?
On my 2018 Sport to remove the calipers it has Allen bolts that are a size 6, fyi. They are in a sleeve where the bolts should be
👍
Just use a large "C" clamp. No fancy special tool required for compression.
Same brake pad part number for 2018 Honda accord sport because it says only comparable with ex and lx but not sport
Thank you share clip
I got my rear brakes done at dealer for 240
Great info!
You have a video doing the rear brakes?
We do not. But it is the same process. The only thing different is that the brake pads are smaller in the rear
@@biggirlsgarage8331 how about the electronic emergency brake
@@nickyfresh6577 put the car in accessory mode by pressing the start button twice without pressing the brake pedal ! Then compress the piston with the caliper tool or pliers! Pull e brake 2 to 4 times to calibrate when finished
How do I change the Maxi Pads on my Toyota Prius?
400$ damn
Everyone uses a tool to push the piston in, use your thumbs and a little muscle lol
Either works
@@biggirlsgarage8331 Use a Large C Clamp. Works everytime.
