Rango is really one of the most underrated animated movies. I think that the animation was way ahead of it’s time. I remember watching this movie in movie theatre and didn't believe what was in front of me. I've never seen anything like it, I couldn't take my eyes off the screen watching this beautiful animation and the story itself. This is a truly unique movie.

"No man can walk out on his own story." I consider this to be the greatest animated film ever made. Such a well written and stunning film.
One of the most unique animated films I've ever seen in the american mainstream. Nothing like it before or since. Wonderful tribute, or as Rattlesnake Jake would say "I tip my hat to you, one legend to another" (if I'm allowed the ego that comes with the quote).
Not just an underrated animated movie, but underrated overall regarding all movies. It has some of the most beautiful animation you’ll see and incredible casting.
I do think this movie deserves more praises than it usually receives. All the voices actors were incredibly believable in their respective, roles especially Johnny Depp as Rango, Gore Verbinski as the Turtle and Bill Nighy as Rattlesnake Jake.
Who knew a western movie with a chameleon would be so good
There are so many masterpieces that got overshadowed by bigger movies. Rango is one of those masterpieces
One of the most underrated movie get the recognition it deserve. I tip my hat to you Zurik.
Johnny Depp was such a great actor. Among his projects, Rango, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory & Pirates of the Caribbean are my favorites. His sense of humor is on another level.
When I watched Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, Death reminded me of Rattlesnake Jake. Each has a similar feel, each serves a comparable narrative purpose, and each ends their "relationship" with the hero the same way, with respect. Oh, and quite egregiously, each has roughly the same amount of screentime: Barely any. But I guess that's a testament to their on-screen presence, because that's all they needed.
I love how you took comedic scenes and made them into serious action!
This is beautifully edited, I especially love the build up before Rango reveals his name (around the minute mark). You clearly appreciate the film and have a keen eye! The scenes stitched together are so good, thank you for reminding me how good this movie was!!

Rango is forever solidified in my heart as one of my favourite animated films, through not only it’s witty humour, unique and creative art style, but also it’s well crafted story of self discovery. Still one of the best films out there to me.
