Love the vids, small micromanagement at 12:30 if you pick up a faith tribal village sometimes you can found a pantheon turn of by clicking religion instead of waiting for the next turn in case you wanted smth specific that might be competed for.

was there a particular reason not to make 1 builder to make ski resorts in the mountain range as soon as you unlocked them or were you just focused on the war? also is a national park not worth it for the tech boost?
Funny thing is if your slot order was higher and won you would see that Rage was one off of CV meaning that you would Win even though the game showed him winning CV.

While I appreciate taking the game seriously, rejoining just seemed like a waste of everyone's time so I'm not sure why there was any disagreement there. Could it have made a difference somehow?

what lag did you mean when pin enabled? we played with 6 people with lots of pin and we dont feel anything
is the optimal way to scout just send them as far as possible? Im still learning ffa so I always try to scout around my cities before sending stuff there, but that causes me to lose out on classical golden age sometimes. Maybe I should just be yoloing my scouts in deep like Herson does
One tip he has mentioned is using the settler and appeal lens to see where other cities are to find city states quicker

- since you are mostly putting up twitch vods to youtube are you planning on having a different audio channel for alerts/sub thanking etc? i mean i get it that getting subs and stuff is hella pog because money but 'thank you for the sub' x15 in an hour adds little to the video and since you are finally getting your deserved growth it will only get more obnoxious
- do you know anyone else from cpl that has a comfy youtube channel? fusion has music blasting which makes me want to kms ingame, trynda is a bit too loud for my taste

50:51 Wow, pin lag is a thing in multiplayer civ? Something that should only be on your local machine anyway (no other players need to see your pins). That is insane

Did you go Liang city parks for amenities?
yeah liang parks are pretty strong because of the amenities but they also provide you with a nice tile to work (usually something like 1/1/3/2) compared to a normal campus specialist
@paul_h1rs Any tips on when to go for them vs Moksha culture or Pingala science? I've only ever used them for appeal to increase my national parks
@@crossfire340 anytime I miss golden age I usually go for moksha since you definitely need early culture to get to feudalism. Pingala science early is usually a no go, I think herson explains it in his multiplayer 101 video why early science is not really good. Key point (oversimplified but hey): if you fuck up and need culture go moksha, if everything seems to be going well magnus into liang is usually the strongest in the longterm

Why do you skip turn on your scouts when you still have movement left?
Generally because I can't move them in the direction that I want to - for instance, if they have one movement point and I want to cross a river, and the only terrain cheap enough to let me spend that movement point would take me away from the river, I'll just skip the scouts turn without spending that last point of movement.
