*A couple of things I've noticed after playing this boss a few times.* 1. A lot of people mention that Fontaine looks like a metallic statue. Weird, sure, but what if that's the logical conclusion of the *'Armoured Shell' tonic?* We don't see what effect that tonic has on Jack/the player in-game, but it can be assumed that it would involve hardening skin or growing some organic armour plating as it were. He clearly shows traits of other plasmids and tonics, so it's not an _out-there_ idea. Amplify that by pure ADAM and you'd essentially be a walking tank. 2. Fontaine has clearly never used plasmids before. Up until you got free of WYK (note, he was highly surprised by that), he probably panicked and figured you'd be too strong to take on without them. If we can assume he spliced up before you got to Point Prometheus, that means he hasn't had the time Jack/the player had to learn how to use and exploit them. Therefore, he just lobs them around with little to no skill.
He does take Adam once you get to Point Prometheus and while you defend the little sister in the proving grounds he begins splicing until there’s nothing left to splice with, once you confront him he is a walking Adam soup
@@bonelesschickennuggets1868 Yes, that's right. He throws on the "Great Chain" fixtures at the bathysphere and things proceed as you said. Nicely remembered. 😁

This fight was REALLY UNDERWHELMING for me. I think the game was great, but the final fight just needed... *more.* For reference, I was playing on normal. I even switched the difficulty over to Survivor, the hardest one... yeah, still not enough. I got through his health really quick, and he died fast. I still think the ending is cute, and worth it- and while there was a sense of "i am going to kill my maker" in me, it just ultimately fell flat with how weak he was. Still felt good watching the little sisters stab the hell out of him.
That’s kinda the point. This guy calls himself Atlas is really just some guy named Frank. He wants to put himself on a pedestal but is easily being thwarted by his own creations. I’ve never really played the game and might sound like an idiot suggesting this, but couldn’t Fontaine have just busted out a few 'Would You Kindley’s' to stop the MC from attacking him?
He does use the would you kindly to make Jack get stepped on by a big daddy but at that point Tenenbaum already reversed some of the mental conditioning. And why he didn’t used it before? Fontaine was toying with Jack letting him try to save himself for a while only to smack him back into reality with the code phrase
You only get 20 extra ADAM if you choose to harvest, and the gift you get if you save the Little Sisters almost balances that out. Basically, there’s only one reason to harvest: to prove to yourself that if it weren’t laws and consequences, you’d actually be a terrible person
@@proctorritter5176 No, it's a 40 ADAM difference every 3 sisters , once you reveive the gift ADAM. You get 80 more ADAM per sister harvesting , you get a 200 ADAM gift every 3rd sister saved. Because I think that's the case with me.
+The ‘The Pint - sized Slasher’ TC Yes it sure was a great game. It's a whole new theme, my friend. I have to agree with you, it surely was easy killing/bearing Fontaine. A bit TOO easy.
+SafaGunSafaGun Couldn't agree more. Most go to the fact that I had a big health bar. lol
If you're struggling with this game, don't harvest the little sisters.
Just go back to playing minecraft.
This fight was a joke, but the idea of avenging elizabeth Made it more satisfying.
Very true!
Bioshock came out 2007 Elizabeth was not introduced in bioshock infinite @juanex721 stop being mad about the fight
@@huntersangster im not mad about the fight, lol....i did'nt Even felt a thing about this fight...not at all.....and thst was the problem
Now with the BioShock infinite: BaS2 context, NOW i feel something...i feel the need of revenge
We are the son of Andrew Ryan And we murdered our own father
That sounds horrible, to be honest. Haha!
@SafaGunSafaGun your name is Jack Ryan And and in Bioshock 2 when you are at Fontaines Futuristics there is a audio clip of Sofia Lamb She Saids About Andrew Ryan was murdered and she Ryan was murdered by his own son's hand and she subject WYK which we did kill Ryan in bioshock 1 and WYK Means Would you Kindly So We are the son of Andrew Ryan
Frank: dies elizabeth
everyone: *GET HIM MR. B*
All the journey to kill the Father....
Jack is a version of Elizebeth which makes this so much better
beating bioshock on weeny hut junior mode should be the title.
I'll consult you for a next Bioshock video
I can remember the last time I beat this game. I saved all the little sisters, killed Ryan, and then the truth was revealed. I wasn’t shocked; I had beaten the whole thing before, but this time was different. This time, I had also beaten Burial At Sea.
As Fontaine hit the ground and the needles sucked the last of his life out, I remember putting down my controller, crossing my arms, and nodding. I spoke only two words, and had he heard them, Fontaine’s heart probably would have dropped to his fucking heels.
“For Anna.”
That ending always gets me
I’ve never really played the game and might sound like an idiot suggesting this, but couldn’t Fontaine have just busted out a few 'Would You Kindley’s' to stop the MC from attacking him?
I guess so... It seems logical. But still... It's a game. xD
@@righardtmarnewick7420 Yes. This.
Nope
He does use the would you kindly to make Jack get stepped on by a big daddy but at that point Tenenbaum already reversed some of the mental conditioning. And why he didn’t used it before? Fontaine was toying with Jack letting him try to save himself for a while only to smack him back into reality with the code phrase
Not at this point of the game, he got too cocky when he had the chance.
*COME AND GET IT, MUK* 💪🤘
💪🤘
What difficulty is this on?
I really don't remember, dear Scarlett. It's been a while...
Let’s be honest we are actually replaying this just to get revenge for Elizabeth am I right?
You are damn right.
It's all because of the new high capal, damn it Senarii
Tom Clancy: Jack Ryan ™ kills Oscar
Go play bioshock infinite burial at sea part 2 the ending makes you wanna kill atlas
wish a couple of adam collecting devices were stuck deep in his orbits
Did everyone skip the first game or something?
They only got #1 on the leaderboard because they stole his kill 😤
A whole lot of work here. I'll stick with Major Slack. Took him down quick and easy.
I always see jack and the little sisters him just raising them by himself in a comedy like full house or I suppose it could be different.
You have a creative mind. :)

Big daddy is true final boss
So true! Those guys are beasts.
Really, there's no reason to get the bad ending. The bad ending is just... gives you no real benefit.
The only reason you would do it is to make the game easier, since harvesting little sisters would give you more ADAM
You only get 20 extra ADAM if you choose to harvest, and the gift you get if you save the Little Sisters almost balances that out. Basically, there’s only one reason to harvest: to prove to yourself that if it weren’t laws and consequences, you’d actually be a terrible person
Dewey Salazar I saw a video, you actually get 160 ADAM (twice the ADAM) for harvesting a sister. I still can’t bring myself to harvest them though.
Dewey Salazar or the achievement, if there is one
@@proctorritter5176
No, it's a 40 ADAM difference every 3 sisters , once you reveive the gift ADAM.
You get 80 more ADAM per sister harvesting , you get a 200 ADAM gift every 3rd sister saved.
For the game , it's 280 more ADAM harvesting the 21 sisters.
And if you use the extra sisters exploit , you don't receive a bonus gift for the 24th sister.
If you want to get all the trophies/achievements in one playthrough you have to save the little sisters.

I always found the ending extremely funny
Hahah, it is. It's also kind of sick when you think about the whole story.
Mine was different... Maybe because I Harvest a lot of little sisters!! Shame!
Yes! It affects the way the ending goes, if I'm not mistaken.
So...Frank Fontaine was an animal monster?
Looks like it, yeah. :-D
is that fountain or atlas
Everytime I replay bioshock now I say "shut the fuck up AtLaS" out of hatred for Frank and I find it funny
How many times did you replay this game? :)
Idk how the fk your shotgun does all that damage
I've twice your lifebar but i can't do that🤣
He's on medium or easy lol
@@theotherbeatle707 ops, i tried the hardest difficulty
Idk why but like the third part of every triology game or movie, it always sucks ass. The first two bioshock was great and fantastic, bioshock was good aswell but it didnt have the same excitement.
It's usually really hard to top the games you've already made. I agree with this. Those first two Bioshocks were just amazing.
U know how long this shit took me 😂😂😂
Freddy Murphy this is like one of the easiest bosses tho
I actually don't, hahaha
This boss was a fucking JOKE
You think so?
