I’m glad to see a tutorial with the strips cut in half, Have you or anyone else cut just half the amount of strips in half so you have full lengths & the halves? I’m thinking of doing this but haven’t seen a finished one done this way!
I am a little slow at processing things so I need to actually see how things are being sewn in order for it to make sense. Im sure this is a great video for most people. The quilt is beautiful though! Nice work!
i get your point about specific instructions. it was purely entertainment purposes. i suppose fill in the big blanks about size of thread needles tension space of stitches zig zag ?
Thank you for this tutorial and the free pattern I wish the camera was nearer the machine so that we could see from more of an aerial view. It's very difficult to see what you did with the strips. Hopefully the pattern will have pictures.
Thanks for the video but I'm new and not able to figure out how you are getting straight pieces when you are sewing everything together like this - are you cutting something at the bottom?
Unfortunately the jelly roll I purchased from Joann’s had only 20 strips. I. Going to buy another, make it to 16 strips and attach. Then I will have a full size quilt. Jelly roll fun!
Oh, shoot! I'm sorry that happened, but I guess the good news is, this quilt is easy to add onto! :) Glad you decided to make this - thanks for watching! ♥ --Jodie
The strips come in the package are folded in half, she trimmed with rotary cutter on the fold line by stacking 4 folded strips. You could also take scissors & cut on the fold. Hope that makes sense!
Thanks for the pattern..I will definitely make one and I love yours also! So pretty!
I love this tutorial and how my quilt turned out. The cutting of the fabric in half to make it more scrappy made it perfect! thank you!
Thank you, Lori! We are happy to hear you enjoyed making this quilt!
Finally...I've been wanting to see how a jellyroll race turns out with the strips cut in half...love it!!! Thank you!!💕
Awesome to hear! So glad this is what you needed to see! We think it's quick & easy - and cute, too! Thanks so much for the comment! ♥
Sorry, this video is very confusing for a beginner.
I am just learning to sew properly... This looks better then practicing my straight stitches on paper! Thank you!

Would you use half of the jelly roll to make a smaller quilt?
Really pretty🙂
What sewing machine are you using? Specifically what model of Janome? Thanks in advance for your help.
What type of batting do you use to get your quilt to be draped and cuddly?
Hi from South Africa how much does a jelly roll cost
Would love to give it a try.

I have no idea what she is doing. Not for beginners. I. Didn't see her cut in half just trim.
