- Tried this from #tiktok on how to clean your headlights using just baking soda and a lemon.
It actually worked pretty good didn’t get rid of the fog completely but was significantly cleaner.

A restoration kit is like $15 and will last longer cause there's a wipe on clearcoat just so y'all know

Try Brake cleaner as well comments been letting me know even better ways to clean . this technique is very temporary

You know, what I don't get is the fact the lens on the turn signal side is fine, but the one on the headlights is yellow. The lights on my 2001 dodge were the same way.

A lot of times it depends where you park. If the sun constantly hits one part while the other is in the shade it will not fade evenly
Wet sanding removes everything not lemon and baking soda lol
@@corvettezr1ismlemon and baking soda will do the trick just won’t stay like that if anything the acidity hurts the clear coat more but yes the proper way is to wet sand it with multiple grits depending on how bad it is and then applying another coat of clear.

You might want to try brake cleaner as well the results will last longer. this is more of a temp job but feel free to try it out as well and peep the comments

Lol this doesn't look good bro. You need to get a cordless drill and get some sanding disk attachments. Wet sand the lights and then give it a quick polish and ceramic coat them or spray 4k clear coat on them

WTF that is ridiculous don’t use the hood as a table and they make a headlight polish for 7$ Meguiars no need to use baking soda and a lemon wicked abrasive and acidic dripping down your paint

Yeah it’s a very minimalistic approach to cleaning your headlights from fog. I heard brake cleaner works better. 🤷♂️
