Thanks for your helpful tutorial.😊
Hey…thanks for this video was very helpful for me to clean my headlights…….you answered a whole bunch of questions…thanks again…not taken for granted !!
Find out where moisture is entering, repair it. drill a small hole in an inconspicuous spot and use a hand held vacuum pump to pull a vacuum and hold it for awhile, this will do two things. It will evacuate moisture (same as pulling a vacuum on an a/c system) and it will confirm you have fixed your moisture entry leak. Remove pump, seal hole immediately with your choice of quick setting sealant.
Yes ,Sir I've been doing some research on my lights even trued ceramic cleaner for glass stove tops which is a good cleaner only problem it did not last But now with the clear coat amazing . Wow thanks for your help 🙂. 🐝
Nice video. These are great hacks, especially if you have hazy headlights and you're going to the car lot to trade in your klunker. The only real way to actually have long lasting results is to sand the headlight lenses with several different grades of sand paper ending up with a 3600 to 4000 grit wet sanding cloth or paper. Then use a special clear coat that does not build up on the lenses.
Thank you. I did many years ago pay to have them done but didn't last. I will be using one of your tips then clear coating. I sure appreciate you posting & showing all ways. 😊
How do you cover your car safely from the clear coat (the least expensive way)? Also, do you need to cover your paint job of your car when using any of these hacks? (or was this more to highlight your testing areas and controls?) I’m most likely going to use the baking soda/hydrogen peroxide/white vinegar method. Thank you for your thorough and thoughtful demo of these headlight restoration hacks!! Very much appreciated 😃🙏
When using vinegar, make sure to cover your paint. Vinegar is not going to damage your paint if it touches it, but if you leave residue on the paint, plus with the sun rays (heat), then that might be an issue. So make sure to rinse your paint from any products you use. Also, if applying the clear coat, you do want to cover your paint. You can use plastic bags, or you can buy some thin plastic sheets in walmart or Home Depot (should only be a few dollars) $3 to $5. When spraying, try it on a piece of cardboard or something. You can spray many light coats. Dont worry about covering all the surface, let it dry, and apply thin coats. It will all be covered eventually. This way, you will avoid over spraying the headlight. Good Luck 👍
You did a fantastic job! You were very thorough and informative. I’m not sure which one worked the best because it’s not as easy to compare on a video as it would be in person. Which one do you think works the best? Thank you so much! When the weather gets warmer here, I will be trying a couple of these methods. Bravo!👏 😃

Replace the assembly?
Heat gun gets the water out from the headlight or blow dryer
@@tonykeiiz7807 that's a whole lot cheaper than replacing it lol
Yea, how do I get rid of that inner headlight moisture? Charles McC
Find out where moisture is entering, repair it.
drill a small hole in an inconspicuous spot and use a hand held vacuum pump to pull a vacuum and hold it for awhile, this will do two things. It will evacuate moisture
(same as pulling a vacuum on an a/c system)
and it will confirm you have fixed your moisture entry leak.
Remove pump, seal hole immediately with your choice of quick setting sealant.
Thanks for all the info. Very informative.
Excellent video........... thank you for taking the time to explain each process.
Thankyou for this video, it helped me greatly.

Thanks for the headlight restoration video! I learned a lot and I'm going to try it out on my 08 Ram 1500:)
Very interesting! I am interested in learning how to clear water out of headlights! May never need to do but may share with someone else. Thanks!!
Have you tried Chrome polish? It works great. It also works on windshields with hard water spots
I done my wifes honda and it looks like new again I strongly suggest the clear coat
Wow this is so great... thank you God Bless!!!😍
Thank you. I did many years ago pay to have them done but didn't last. I will be using one of your tips then clear coating. I sure appreciate you posting & showing all ways. 😊
If you have Mothers Mag Polish around your garage, it works great for cleaning headlights also.
I used this & it worked pretty well. I then put a coat of carnuba wax, polished it up nicely with some protection against further yellowing.
The black car n light grey look like new great job.
This was AWESOME!!!
How do you get the moisture out of the headlight?
With a propane torch?
Hairdryer??
Love this! Can't wait to try! I would like to see how to remove the moisture.
Thank you for posting this video
I’ll give those ideas a try
Good Luck 👍
Awesome job!! Thanks for the information!
I myself have been using white vineager for years on my headlights ! It works great !😊
Great secrets to know ,thanks .And great money savers also.
Thank you for this video! This will definitely help me out. Please show how to get moisture out of them also. Thanks again!
I heard Cutter insecr repellent worked. I tried it and yes it worked..
You did a fantastic job! You were very thorough and informative. I’m not sure which one worked the best because it’s not as easy to compare on a video as it would be in person. Which one do you think works the best?
Thank you so much! When the weather gets warmer here, I will be trying a couple of these methods. Bravo!👏 😃
WD40 works great for cleaning headlights. I live in AZ with lots of sun so a little WD 40 every now and then cleans those lights good without using expensive stuff.
Thank you for your time and knowledge and working to share it with us. Most helpful! Thank you!
Just wet sand the headlights with a really fine grit sand paper and then rinse clean then spray it clear coat.
I am so glad I researched this! Thank you so much for your detailed demostration! You are amazing!❤
Great well thought out video guide!
Thank you! This was very helpful. I do need to watch it again! 🤗
