- Cosmo Sheldrake's 2018 debut album "The Much Much How How and I" is a delightfully divergent trek into the worlds of ergonomics and ecology, exploring how humanity interacts and makes its way in the wider natural world, as well as how that world has adapted, or failed to adapt, to the resulting changes.
I'll be taking a dive into several songs on the album to dissect the greater meaning of their lyrics, and see how they tie together to capture the conflict of nature and man.

I'd like to point out that Pliocene has a Kauai o'o, a species that went extinct due to humanity's actions, singing throughout it. It adds to 'gone for good' idea behind the song, in my opinion.
I kept listening to The Much Much How How and I while I was in the psych ward one summer...
It reminds me of home and of childhood, playing in the streams, during summer, and in snow during winter...
Now summer makes the creeks run dry, and winter never comes...

But seriously, I absolutely love the evidence you brought to the table... Especially with Egg and Soldiers. That ending sentence was stumping me for a while but hearing you talk about it in the light of consequential change from man’s overconsumption felt so right and fitting for Cosmo...
