I've never heard anyone point out how the four classical elements are four representations of the fundamental states of matter. Earth is a solid, water is a liquid, air is a gas, and fire (flame specifically) is a plasma. Just thought that was worth mentioning.

This was a very thorough and holistic view on elemental origins. I've heard pieces of this before, but it was fascinating seeing it all in one place. Well done EF.
@1:01-.-To be fair, mythessence is actually pretty good for an overloaded element system. With the exception of one, the power sets of each element are pretty well defined and distinct. It's still bloated though.
wow, your description of Empedocles sounds like a stange combination of Radagon and Rykard from Elden Ring. think rule of causality and rule of regression. Also the whole throwing yourself into a volcano to become a god thing. XD
