I would be more than happy if you posted every other week. Taking care of yourself and your needs is so important. It will also shine through on camera. I appreciate your honesty about it! It makes me feel less alone.

I agree…it’s lovely to see someone just doing what they can…I’d rather see authenticity and how it is…I wouldn’t see anything as ‘boring’, I see it as real and just how things go occasionally x

I usually don’t wait for a specific moment of posting for anybody. When I see a new video of a channel I’m subscribed I watch it when I can, so I don’t think you have to worry about it.

what I love the most about your videos is how you show your struggles, either business related or just about life in general. it just makes everything so real and relatable 😊💜

I've been there and currently taking a break from my youtube channel. Some of my recommendations is take lots of B roll you can use in upcoming videos, incorporate more face to camera footage where you just sit there and talk, you can film these ahead of time in one sitting for various videos, and maybe try to film videos ahead of schedule so you can have a few already scheduled so you won't be so busy trying to keep that deadline. You could also do more chill videos where you just relax, a day in the life, and such. You could also just do some recap videos, what did I do this week etc. Remember it is your business, you decide your schedule and what you work on and when. I always take a day or two after a few events to relax and reset.

Thank you so much for my order Abi, its all super cute. Fastest delivery of a small business ever. Regarding filming, take some pressure off yourself and post videos when you can. It can easily become another chore, which sucks the energy and fun out of you. Take a break if you need to.

I also work full time, and run a small business ( a blog, etsy, pinterest, and youtube) I recently had too much going on and took a break from youtube and my blog for about a month. Came back refreshed with new content ideas, still taking a break from youtube though.
Sometimes we just can't do it all, and it may be best to focus on less things. And put the effort in to just one or two items, instead of too many.

I totally agree that you should just go easy on yourself. Consistency is a good thing but it definitely can lead to burnout which is never good. If you need the system or process to ensure you feel less stressed, I would try blocking certain creative tasks together and break it up for the month instead of weekly. remember small businesses aren’t corporations, which is why they are special and don’t need to be perfect all the time. Imperfect and honest can be more genuine and I think that really resonate with others.
Also, sometimes we have seasons in our life where spending time with friends and family is more important and that’s what will help inspire and fuel your energy to keep running your small business. Don’t let those special moments get away stressing about your biz. Your community will be here when you’re ready to jump in again. ❤ 😊

Dear Abi, I’ve been watching you since the start, you are fabulous! I love the content you create however, you would benefit from releasing yourself from the pressure. I’m happy to see a video once a month, what matters is that if you push this hard you will end up ill as your body will force you to take a break. Be kind to yourself, your supporters will be here, regardless!

I was feeling like this last year and sometimes you gotta let certain things go - like people not knowing when you post, that’s okay!! That’s something that can give. It’s all about priorities - if the priority is better content instead of a rigid schedule you could also grow from that too while it’s less stressful.
Priorities are so hard to decide but it’s something you gotta do when you have sooo many competing priorities. Figure out how important certain things are to you and the life you’re trying to create for yourself by giving them a score or something where everything doesn’t have the same level of importance if that makes sense 😅 you can do it🎉

Seems like you need to take a break. People will always be there and your health and well being is much more important than all this. Without it you don’t have a business… just take a break. It’s not easy to work full time and have a whole business. I’m doing the same thing and trying my best not to stress about being able to do it all (full time job, own business, husband and kids😅). A clog twice a month would totally fine. Take care ❤

So as for how you've been feeling overwhelmed, I can totally understand. You have a lot on your plate, and it's hard to do everything. I personally have yet to build consistency on RUclips (I have another channel) but I have been doing a bunch of research on RUclips in general, so I have some ideas for posting.
You could always do vlogs once a month, or once every other week, and fill in the weeks with other types of videos. (Here's how I decide what to draw. How I manufacture my products. This is how I take product photos and edit them.) Posting more search-based content would not only be easier to film, edit, and post, but it would also help get more subscribers. Honestly, I would love to see how to videos that focus less on teaching us how to do it, and more on sharing your unique process.
I wanted to write this all out before I forgot it, so I'm gonna finish the video and edit if need be. PS. love your videos and your products are super cute!

If you feel very uncomfortable cutting out the consistency of posting a video on a certain day and time: try biweekly on a set day! And if you have some energy and motivation left, you can still put out different videos whenever. And we‘ll just be happy for the bonus haha ❤

It is quite quiet this month. My sale shave not slowed but the amount of money people are spending are smaller, but that also could be that I now have listed some more affordable items. I am probably a much smaller business than you and I am aiming for 1 sale a day.... im at about 3 sales a week.

I upload videos loosely one a mounth. That's all I got in me to do. I work full time fixing a house and have my small buisness. U can also make ur videos shorter.
Gonna be honostly. I don't have time to watch ur video every week. I will sometimes bindge watch and catch up. The last couple weeks I've found time. But sometimes I'll go 2 or so weeks without watching. Ur in my feed and youtube pushes u I just have limited viewing times.

If you feel overwhelmed you really should post less frequently.
Maybe cut out every second video. Like not every week one but every second week.
Use designs you already have to create new items. Stick to what you already have for a little while.
It is more important that you are okay instead of "suiting" your life to your current habits that are no good for you.
And if your subscriber really like and appreciate you they will understand. Go easy on yourself.
I know what I am talking about. I have seen it from my mother and myself until I found a way to deal with everything. For me it was Affirmation and everything that belongs to this topic.
Since then I have more time for myself, get everything done faster and more effortlessly... I could go on and on.
Your brain will be (maybe already is) in a fog and will/is probably not working righ. Which, eventually, leads into a messy brain, messy work, messy relationships - if you know what I mean.
    Please, avoid this devil's trap.
    Sending you love

Do what works for you - secoinding that once a fortnight would be fine, maybe for a couple of months just so you can have some more fun time this summer, or shorter videos - I think your standards for "interesting" are higher than mine, I like the mundane stuff,,,
