Great Video love on how the Whats that strap (WTS) helps as a drill to better view the chest separating from the lower body. Looking forward to the videos you will be creating on the TS Golf member site on different ways to use WTS for block practice.

Similar ideas of extension in the backswing as for example Dr Kwon proposes. Difference being he's advocating using the lower body (the right leg pushing down) to get there. I guess it's a case of "what works best for you"? Regardless, my goal for the off season is to get my chest to point more up at the top of the backswing, this will help. Thanks!

Surely there are some similarities here! I do think understanding how and when to extend the spine is very important! Hope this vid helps and please let me know if you ever need anything or have any questions!

I’ve been working on this exact move to prevent my head from dipping down in the backswing! As I extend the spine and then come down I often hit shanks - assume I’m getting closer to the ball as opposed to popping up / early extension with my old movement - thoughts on countering the shank?

That would be adding the rotation piece in the backswing. The shanks are from low point moving outward (which we would counter with an inward movement). My guess is that you side bending and extending, but not rotating back enough to create enough inward movement and depth. I hope this helps and please let me know if and how I can help!
