I trust any Japanese steel company over a US one. I do think, though, that the union should now own the company over any executive, or, privatize

Why is U.S. Steel selling ? Some American enterprises are closing because they cannot compete in the International market. if the wrong choice is made, America will have another community like Gary Indiana.

Mr. McCall is not accurate about the membership backing candidates. Very few times has the International backed the membership's choice. For many years we have felt like the International ignores the membership and only acts in their own best interest. Right now, the Mon Valley USW members, not leadership, overwhelmingly back Trump. The International refuses to support any Republican candidate no matter how bad the Democratic candidate is.

@@meechieboii16 I didn't make a choice about anything. I was just providing information on the actual situation in the plants.

This guy is obviously waiting with his hand out, looking for a payoff. Shame, Nippon steel would create so many benefits. Citizens of Pennsylvania would benefit from Nippon. Jobs and money. The community would prosper from Nippon buyout of
    U.S. Steel.
