80s music, 80s movies, 80s entertainment in general was and still is the best. It was the best era to be a teen and young adult. Loved the fact that me and my friends were part of that era and enjoyed it then, have great memories and still talk about it, because it is so nostalgic and those movies, the timeless and ageless music, will live on forever. Thank you for the best memories and life experience.
The 80s! When freinds were real, the music and movies were real and original, no cellphones, no social media,no woke or cancel society, everyone got along, pop culture actually brought ppl together, as a teen, all you had to worry about really, was school, the next football game on Friday night, where you and your friends were going afterwards, who is having a party, and where to take your next date, things were soooo much better!!
This song was Record of the year in 1986. This year also saw Graceland, So, and Back in The High Life all up for album of the year, with Graceland winning.
For me the decade of the eighties was the maximum peak of humanity, after that everything went downhill, there is still a long way to hit rock bottom but we are not very far away, young people are totally lost by social networks that all they do is wash your head and selling you lives of fantasies and stupidity, and the adults are all subdued by the politic that dirty everything it touches. I am not deluded in the eighties there were also bad things but in terms of creativity and freedom there will be nothing closer to human evolution, I could not live that time but I would have loved to live it.

Nyc was gritty in 80s. There was crime, porn in Times Square, but nyc had soul style, character. Now all we have is tourists mostly European, transplanters who gentrification is out of control. Back then we had real neighborhoods,with hardware stores, book shops, butcher shops, now just coffee shops, restaurants, high end retail.
90% of these movies I do not know, and probably will never watch them. But this compilation is really nice and has a beautiful vibe of the 80-s. Thank you.

80s movies were the best...but the worst portrayal of love in real life. Just made it look so easy. That the end was always a happily ever after. Always lots of good tunes to reiterate that fact too....& nobody took real offense to anything. The good ole days. May they RIP.
