Wow first and only channel to realize the VVT solenoid is NOT the same as the VTEC solenoid. So question is if the VVT solenoid is working fine but leaking oil around that area can the seal be purchased on its own?
So, my question is, what if the solenoid is stuck... Trying to get mine out of my 2014 Accord (my timing chain cover is leaking) and it will not come out. It rotates a few degrees back and forth but can't get it to budge. Any ideas?
I got a P0507 and replaced the throttle body hoping to fix it. The idle stays below 1000 rpm usually, but then sometimes it idles over 1K and sets off the alert again. Could the problem be in this solenoid? The Accord has 150K miles.

I have a accord euro but my solenoid hits the brake lines from the abs unit. Not enough room to get it out
I tok the bolt of but the vvt it wont come out, I tried pulling its rotating but not coming out idk wky

2012 CRV … same motor only that on a CRV there is motor mount that makes this job incredibly frustrating.
