i do not have the wiggle room to afford tennis lessons. but i do constantly find ways to improve my tennis after playing for 6 years. these videos help me so much, it gets straight to the point & im able to see examples. I can guarantee you that with videos like this, i have been able to become the tennis player that I am today
I saw one of the former Wimbledon doubles specialists talking about this and, in addition to Patrick's techniques, he really tied the hitter's head to the racquet head, keeping the hitter's head low and near the racquet. He also lowered the racquet head in the ready position, because most balls at the net are not at shoulder height, but lower and time is of the essence.
Once My coach made a very good drill with me.. I was in front of the wall and he was behind me hitting the balls randomily on the wall and then I had to volley them
I’ve looked at John Academy. The lessons are a bit dearer than the Private ones I get at the club it is I can see there’s you and another person so I guess you have to pay for that. Got somebody hitting the ball and you got you coaching instead of just one coach on his own so it’s expensive but you pay for what you get
Hi I m from India. Love to play tennis and improve. Can you please tell me a normal fitness routine Like what should i do per day in week to improve my fitness
Another way of saying this is that you don't want to have too much 'independent arm action'. As in, independent from the rest of your body. It's a good tip for groundstrokes as well. I took that phrase from Florian from OTI / online tennis instruction.
I do tend to make a very brief grunt sound when I hit, but it is just goes with my big exhale and it does not trail on like a few of the pros who make long, loud sounds which my actually be hinders to their opponent.
zéro la technique de la volley …tu dois faire un minimum de geste avec ta raquette qui est ta main …leger ce mec vu le coût d une leçon c est le b à ba de la volley ça
An below average tennis kid taught by somebody who charges 4500.-€ / per hour, why the hell do you find this so wonderful?? and his parents are paying for this crap….why not teach really talented kids for free - and show that🤬

That « tac » was so French 😂😂
These little tips play out in big ways! Very helpful adjustments.
Excellent tips Patrick! Thank you.
How do you improve your reflexes for better volleys?

Just watching your tip over and over again...😅
Stay on your toes and MOVE TO THE BALL!
Just by doing practice 😐😐😐
Your videos are great lessons thank you
Great coaching. Happy to find this channel 🎉

muy bien enseñado. en el padel si o si tenés que hacer el paso adelante simultaneo al golpe para volear. en el tenis basta con bloquear.
I LOVE your videos.
Simple steps to ensure successful volleying! Thanks! 👍
Thanks, I can also volley with the technik. I practice, I enjoy playing tennis more and more, I can control and attack to win. 👍🏆
My volley is average. It’s good sometimes I guess I’m in a pull some top shots but it’s something I need to work on.
Move forward with the ball! 👍
I saw the person who only plays for one year can beat all the players in social games. Tennis athletics are gifted.

He's better because at the end his balance is on his left leg before the shot
continue with your legs - it's simple physics, yet so genius!
I found this out on my own. Also the closer the elbow to your body the more stable the racquet.
With two people a coach and another person hitting the ball it’s more intense then just a coach feeding you like I said you pay for what you get
My volley is not good ? How can I improve it ? I am very weak at net . 😢. Patrick Sir , can you please help me with it ?
Patrick: visa or cash

What is meant when you say “ keep your hand and body together”?
It means your body goes forward as you hit the ball with your racket.
Another way of saying this is that you don't want to have too much 'independent arm action'. As in, independent from the rest of your body. It's a good tip for groundstrokes as well. I took that phrase from Florian from OTI / online tennis instruction.
Does this also apply to forehand volleys?
Yes
Yes. Turn your shoulders and move racket and body to the ball.
My voice is gonna be heaps better after this video I can tell you day and night
This guy has me saying Pam! Every time I hit the ball
I do tend to make a very brief grunt sound when I hit, but it is just goes with my big exhale and it does not trail on like a few of the pros who make long, loud sounds which my actually be hinders to their opponent.
Continental grip?
Should be using Continental grip at the net.
How do they get private lessons with you
I swear to God you gonna owe me royalty and commission for stealing all my tips

All ATP players should pay attention because they do not know how to volley like the old days
Expert tip? This is basic volley technique and nothing new.
Maybe others didn't have the same coaching experience as you. One look at the other comments and you can tell.
Yes. It’s basic volley technique that 90% of recreational players neglect to execute.
