Nothing worse than a dry lead with no room to play in,,,,sad very very sad,,,,,,,,I laughed out loud at that. It’s very true and very sad. I will never forget that extremely important lesson. My leads were very sad indeed. Brilliant tip.

I like making adjustments, but I don't like too many options. That's why I'm not using the Pro-L or Saturn, which are so difficult to dial in your sound. I still want to use the Pro-R (and I SWEAR by the Pro-Q) but do we really need things like 'distance' or 'character' in reverb, or HUGE rooms, where the other options are hard to dial in the correct settings? Also, I don't know the difference between 'space' and 'decay rate'. They both seem to do the same thing.

Thanks for the review. As always with Fabfilter, you can guarantee it's going to be high quality, both in terms of the sound, the thought that's gone into it and the GUI. My only slight criticism is I don't think the loop you used was the best for demonstrating a reverb, it was too busy to hear the tails and get a good representation of the overall sound.

^ Agreed ... I think a piano, guitar or vocal piece could have showcased the functions a bit better. However props to demonstrator for your excellent, easy to understand explanations of those functions.

      Me too.
Great review and demo, Fab Filter rules, but I would always start with maybe a dry hand clap (every 2 seconds or so) to give a clear picture of what each knob can do.
But... now that I’ve seen this, I’ll go record myself clapping and give it a whirl !!!!
