It is both astonishing and infuriating to me that in 2024 car manufacturers still knowingly make vehicles which are unreliable and full of problems. This is exemplified by the Ford Bronco which frankly should be withdrawn completely from the market. Also, everything made by Chrysler is bad. Why are they still in business? Why is it so difficult for these companies to make reliable, long-lasting vehicles?

I still remember times when Ford had a solid reputation for basic, inexpensive cars. 8-year old Escort with 120K miles was selling for $1250, 6-year old Taurus with 70K miles was selling for $3500. No twin tubos, no dual clutches, no cameras around, no AI-assisted air conditioners. Nothing to break, just turn an ignition key and drive. What Ford is now just breaks my heart.
