Thanks Mark for a no nonsense affordable way to clean up small scratches on my car. I'm off to Amazon to buy the drill adaptor and pads. BTW, nice voice!
Thanks for very helpful tutorial for newbies 👍
Awesome mate but I would use a micro fibre cloth to remove excess as you can put fine scratches back into your car with that towel 👍
Nice video!
Hi Mark did you end up making the vid of a full polish of your car with the worx polisher I have the same polisher.
Yeah good idea mate but if I may say 2 points firstly you need to keep the pad flat and secondly a better pad may I recommend meguiars or rupes but you did well .
Awesome job!
Thank you! Cheers!
These pads work amazing thanks for posting i bough them after watching great results
Awesome. Thanks for commenting your results. 😃 MRT
nice video
My question is I just Bought a Bosch Drill Machine 570 watts I want to do the car with a Polish just Normal. POLISH shield brand xan I Do it
This guy is just like me: "You should put gloves on..., but whatever"
yeah me too always use a respirator when spraying too, whatever ill just hold my breath then run away lol
Waw sooo 👍😊 appreciate
You barely Touched the Car and then the Scratches Come right off nice Gentle Touch 😎👍
oooo, he touched the car alright. You have a really good chance of destroying your clear coat if you start doing that.
that rough patch on the hood. I would have sanded down with a 4k wet sand, spray light with a fresh layer of clear coat, sand again to smooth out, then cut n polish. if you still have the car, I would like to see how that turns out.
4k isn't gonna do anything to that.
I would've hit it with 600, THEN touch it up with paint and clear coat.
Then after a few days, I would compound and polish it to match

The Gospel 1 Corinthians 15:1-4🕊🕊
You would clear coat over a 4K wet sand? That won’t last my dude.
Do you think a cordless drill with those plate and foam adapter kits are strong enough to burn the paint, or do you think I shouldn’t worry as much because the cordless drill prob doesn’t have the same power as a rotary?
It is really quite safe. As long as your paint is in good condition. Cordless will have to be a good one to have enough power
LPT, offset your pad a bit so it creates a more random orbit pattern.
@@deasttn this helps if you have swirls right?
@@Mech.E it sure can help. Just test and practice
I will try on my car. I didn't use water with cut polish. I will try again with water. Thanks for tips.
I forgot to mention to add wax at the end. Dont forget that. Goodluck.
Should have used a microfiber cloth demistrating this...that towel does nothing but add more swirls and blemishes
You forgot wax to protect the paint
Yes I did.
Are the sponge pads better than the woolen ones available at Bunnings?
I put some links to purchase in the description.
You need to match the size.
Great Video. but why you did not use woolen pad?? are they are not more effective on removing scratches??
Woolen pads tend to give ghosting and swirl marks. The foam is best especially for beginners
@@Marksreviewsandtutorials no the reason you get swirls and scratches is because you're using a drill not a polisher
thanks for this video.. but just one question how can I get it work on my impact drill do i need specific adopter on that kit? Your help & advise would be much appreciated. And new sub here. Thanks
Most impact drills have a switch to turn off the impact effect. If not you cannot use it. MRT
Can it remove DEEP Scratch?
Use needle oem touch up pen, then rubbing compound...
do you need wax after polishing?
Yes
125mm, 150mm?
Sziasztok!
Drill polishing kit is out of stock! You know anyone else?
YES Thanks for letting me know amzn.to/3l4w4Se
But I can say this never and I mean never use cloth towel only fibers
Can you use a battery li.ion drill its a 18v Mikita
As long as the gear is in good condition that should be fine. It just may take longer. 👍
Will the scratch become visible again after washing the car?
Same question here
You said the car needed to be clean. Thats filthy?
Deep scratches very well might be visible after washing.
Polishing is a lot like sanding the clearcoat. If the scratch is not very deep, you can "sand" it smooth. Deeper scratches require more polishing, just be careful about polishing away too much of the clearcoat
Dewalt it’s best
There's that word again" Super "?
Lol whateva!
I think you may need to replace the carbon brushes in that old girl of yours.....
Yep you saw right. She’s dead now. Went out in a big smoke cloud. 😞
@@Marksreviewsandtutorials hahaha
Can’t hear shit
drills for buffing does a lousy job, do it the old fashion way by hand with lots of elbow grease.
Like karate kid. Wax on wax off
Words of wisdom. By hand is alot better than using a drill. Ask me how I know!!
@@gogators5762 why is it better to do it just with your hands? I was about to get those drill adapters
@@KevinHPhotography i have the adapters as well. I've done it both ways and by hand always seems to look alittle better. Maybe im tripping but that's how i see it!
@@gogators5762 what about in terms on time spent by hand vs. Drill adapter? Is it that much efficient? Only time I did it by hand took me like 4 hours and a lot of shoulder fatigue haha, that’s why I am considering the drill adapter
Just buy a polisher. They aint expensive
Sure, but these drill attachments are great for small jobs
