These are great tips! I have an Explore Air II. I've made cards using that. I love your tip of using an adhesive spray. You should have seen me trying to glue intricate pieces! Lol I watched some card making videos and got ideas on ways to make my own fancy folded cards. I added my own spins to personalize them. It was fun! 😊❤️

Hi Kelly, I liked those cards. Look pretty easy to do. I hope things are going well for Ray. Prayers for him. Those treatments are hell on people. I can’t think of any other tips to make him comfortable. You and the girls need to take sometime for yourselves or you will burnout. Have a good weekend.
Kelly you explained everything so good. Would you ever consider a class for cricut. I have a maker and have watched so many videos and joined groups but it’s hard to follow. You did such a good job I think I could catch on with you teaching.

Hey Kelly!! I don't know if your store has gotten any in yet, but one of my local stores has started carrying Cricut knock off Crafter's Square card inserts!! It's only a 4 pack instead of 12, but you get the cards, the inserts, and envelopes all for $1.25 which is a pretty good deal and the quality is commensurate with the Cricut cards. 💜

I just added a cricut joy to my crafting tools. I’ve only used it a few times so far. I bought it because it’s easier to take on my crafting weekends with my girlfriends. I had no idea they had a card mat for the joy. Thank you for this inspiration to get my joy out more.

Kelly, this was an excellent video on using the Cricut Joy. I've had mine for over a year now and have used it just a few times to cut out letters in vinyl for some of my grandkids toy boxes , etc. Question...are you using an ipad or computer for Cricut Design Space? Thaks again for this terrific video.

Believe it or not, this is a lot cheaper than running to the store to buy a commercial card. Even if you go to Dollar Tree, you will then have to pay for gas and incur the annoyance of time consumption. I find the best benefit is that you can do your own original design and personalize it with the recipient's name. Before you know it, the price of the machine has paid for itself.
Do you have any video comparing the Joy and Explore models? I'm trying to decide which to get.

Thank you for giving this tutorial!! I have had a joy for 2 years and have tons of trouble in the design space. Any other tutorials would be greatly appreciated!!!! I can’t seem to adjust the size when making a vinyl word or sticker. I’ve wasted so much vinyl it’s ridiculous!!😅

Thank you, Kelly. I purchased the Cricut Joy almost a year ago. I was a member of Design Space but let it go. I had trouble trying to resize. some of the patterns. This video has helped me. I mostly use my Joy with SVG's to cut out small items to stamp on and I make a lot of gift items for the Residents where I work.

Hi Kelly, this is a great video. I was wondering if you can remove those slots from the front of the card in the editing area so that you could just glue the panel behind the front and not have the corners showing. Is that possible?

Kelly, thanks SO MUCH for this video on how to make cards with the Joy. I’ve made a few things with my Joy but have never felt comfortable using it because a lot of the times I run into questions on sizing and things. I especially had problems last Christmas when I tried to size words to put on a small Tumbling Tower Block ornament. I plan on making some cards now that I understand how. I’m amazed at what this little Joy can do.
