Dude. Your very motto and intro talks about how you quit listening to county because it got so “poppy”. And then you talk about how much you like this song. This song is the definition of a “poppy” modern country song. When you were doing hardy, and you talked about Tyler Childers in past songs I had real hope that you wouldn’t fall into the “poppy” trap. But you did Sam Hunt which you admitted to liking in the past. Sam hunt was that same “poppy” crap back in the early 2010s. I subscribed to ya. I really like how you dive into lyrics. But I can only hope you don’t fall into the trap of “liking” every song similar to other reactors. Just asking you be real and not pretend. Good luck and I hope. That’s all I hope:-)
I was explaining why I stopped listening to country in the past. But as time has gone by, a little bit of "pop" is okay with me. As long as I enjoy listening to it, for whatever reason that may be, then I'm gonna say I like it. You're entitled to your opinion of course, but please don't tell me what I can and can't like. I give my honest reaction every time. If you check out my Jason Aldean reaction, I say that I don't like that song. People didn't like that, but it was my honest opinion and I'm not gonna fake a reaction.
