Juliana Arzy I’ve been trying to find the ingredients of a sunscreen I might want to buy but I can’t find it anywhere and it’s like they put a secret ingredient in it they don’t want us to know
I’m pretty sure in the USA we have laws about this too. But I wouldn’t trust the government to enforce every little aspect of it. Which is why we all must educate ourselves and use brands that prove they are trustworthy.

HONESTLY!!! So many RUclipsrs are so tone def to the majority of the middle/lower class budgets but not Hyram ❤
If you need good products that don't break the bank, there's The Ordinary, The Inkey List, and Revolution Skincare. I use products from all three lines and I love them. I think the most expensive item I've gotten so far was maybe $12 and it was a trio of face sprays. He's so right that it doesn't have to be expensive to be effective.
Even if I can afford expensive products I would rather wash my face with wipes than spend all the money lol

Hyram is a critical thinker. He's not a bully. In fact, he's always been polite and gentle. He's not even attacking anyone. He's just showing concerns about certain skincare practices that influencers must stop. You may not know how he helps people through this kind of videos because he's educating people on how to be critical thinkers when it comes to skincare. 😍

I remember watching this Nikki video when it first came out and I was seriously struggling with my skin. I felt so beyond disheartened and defeated when I realised I couldn’t afford any of the products, and thought my skin was absolutely never going to be good. Hyram has completely changed this for me and my skin is absolutely the best it’s ever been thanks to him. So thank you Hyram for helping out someone who has struggled with cystic acne for literally 15 years!
I am SHOCKED to learn that Nikkie has dry skin, given how much powder she uses in her makeup routines. I have very dry skin, and if I use anything more than a teaspoon of powder on my face, I turn into a cakey Sahara desert.

Most people are tired at the end of the day, and usually if someone is wearing makeup they've been out doing something, whether that's work or a special event. So it's pretty easy to come home and say "eh, I'm too tired to take my makeup off" even though it's bad for you

Lmaooo YAASSS!! As a licensed esthetician for the past 15 years I can concur that coconut oil is the DEVIL. Stop using it people! That and palm oil are the worst oils for your skin. They are HIGHLY comedogenic. I give her routine a 6 out of 10. Her weird product choices/lack of skincare knowledge shows but hey, at least she is trying! That counts for something. 🙂
I use coconut oil just to remove my make up because i feel like it breaks everything apart, i always go in with a cleanser afterwards though. Is that bad? I never leave it on my skin or overnight like ever.
what about shea butter?? i use it on my t-zone (especially for my nose) bc of dry, flaky skin + with a moisturizer
@@crystal-fg2ys I would say it’s not good at all I used to use it to take mine off but once I realized it’s not good I stopped there’s plenty of eye makeup removers or even removers for multiple parts of your face I would say to go for that honestly

@Lucy I use it for makeup remover too. And mixed with other oils I use it as a hair mask and cuticle oil. Just a few hours ago I tried it on my face for the first time and it feels AMAZING. I'm a little concerned now though lol.

As a Licensed Esthetician, THANK YOU. These people are actually dropping their precious coconut oil. I have fought with so many clients, and even some licensed professionals, and NO ONE wants to believe me until i get them on my table and physically show them all of the oil I've pulled from their faces. Its RIDICULOUS.
I keep trying to tell my sister that coconut oil isn't good for skin or hair and she REFUSES to believe me it's so frustrating 😂

OMG! I bought my mom a Tatcha tester kit and asked her how she liked it after a couple of days. She complained that it was too heavy and her face felt greasy. GIRL! Come to find out she was just using the oil, rinsing that off, then putting the moisturizer on! Thankfully, I caught her after only a couple of uses and she's on the dry side. She's loving it much more now that she's using the WHOLE kit like it says on the instructions. (She never turned the card over and thought it was just a list of ingredients. SMDH

My wife sent me here to understand her skin care routine better. I may not know the brands, types of makeup used, or what an oil based makeup remover is vs a cleanser. I do now know that this is some serious business. I might have to stop using a bar of soap on my face.

So I found this channel a few days ago and love it. I love how honest Hyram is and how he talks about his experience own experience and research while being mindful to others. I’ve gotten so much information and learned so much from this. I even ordered some new products (CeraVe hydrating facial cleanser, The ordinary niacinamide serum for the mornings and The Ordinary ascorbic acid serum for evening skin care.) Kelly Mayes they only have to put it on the actually bottle not the website and even then it’s kinda shady. The beauty industry is shady and that’s the tea. They can put whatever in and there’s little to no rules against things.

I have used coconut oil as an “eye cream” for a solid 3 years and after watching this video I literally contemplated my entire life... thank you hyram, I will never again do that
I used to try sooooo hard to get on the coconut oil train :( but my skin hated it!! I have tiny pores and what I dry skin, thought it’d help my dry skin. Nah. It just always felt oily and greasy and I never absorbed it. I stopped thank god. I will use it as a lip balm before bed and that seems to be all it’s good for in terms of ‘skin care’ imo.

I used it alot on my face and hair and my skin would break out yet i didnt though that theres something wrong with the coconut cause there was these craze about coconut oil like 3/2 years ago

I started skincare right before I found hyram(around 11/12) and I am so glad Bc I rarely breakout(mostly whenever I forget a cleanser when traveling/going anywhere not at my house which just happened so I’m sad)

"im too lazy to take my makeup off!" girl it took you 3 HOURS to apply your makeup but ok. honestly taking off makeup after a night or event is the best feeling my skin feels light and i literally feel my pores being able to BREATHE! its the most satisfying feeling i love removing makeup
